Solidary units aren't worth it for single-stat voyages, so you don't need one per ship. Personally I keep two.

Hey, if you like hitting the higher regions of times for voyages, that's up to you. Me personally, don't let my Solidarities leave the ship for any reason.

I don't find speed that hard to come by. Then again, my luck with captains is such that I get speed-focused ones :/.

Use speed focused captain, lose the same ~500 that you would having the Solidarity onboard. Dunno about you, but I think using a crew slot for Solids is a better deal than a captain slot for speed.

You too, huh? Took me a billion rerolls just to get the two captains I have worth anything...

Without trawling back through all the pages - do we know what the Captain personalities do?

All of mine are Exuberant, although just had the opportunity to get a 'Vicious' one !!

I would assume that Exuberant increases 'Morale', whilst 'Vicious' is likely to be Combat.

^ I have 10 chi, 3 adventurer voyage rerolls left though.

So the resurrect ability is completely pointless then? Why bother putting in an ability like that if the end result is an undead husk that has worse stats than a T1 crew member.

Rofl silly sea witch.

But, in terms of captain's personalities, it doesn't seem to make a difference to them at all. Doesn't affect stats or anything, but could be related to traits they can get whenever you buy them? Just a speculation on that, don't quote me for it :P

Well sea witches are good for stats rather than resurrect ability. How about bowl missions, aren't they take 7 hours ? I mean how speed stat work and ability to make 15 trips per day with such long voyages. As i'm like 50% till new region.

So we had all these people abusing ports, and not one could post some pics of any set? Even one piece? Unbelievable.

The outcomes of failed voyages can be different.

Sometimes you lose a crew member.

Sometimes you have to wait for it to be repaired (or pay black marketeer to fix it).

And sometimes it's just some silly text and you can put it right back out on another voyage.

Atleast from my experience.

Assuming 100% success rate and being unable to do both, what's better map progression per hour, trade goods or resource missions?

So was this fixed? Because this is the first time i've actually had to let a ship sit and wasnt able to just put it right back out to voyage? Only difference is that I'm out of voyages until reset

Repair the ship instantly by viewing the black marketeer's stock. Costs 20k gp per hour your ship would otherwise be unavailable.

doesn't affect anything other than the dialogue set when you talk to them in the bar

i've had morale types that were classified as vicious

I think only mission length (time) matters, not reward. Except story missions which are always zero, and island unlocks, which are always the maximum distance for their duration (the rest has a random component).

Trade goods, scrolls and special crew missions give +50% distance traveled compared to a standard voyage, however, they give a +50% time increase, too.

When selecting different scrolls I wish to seek on the Port Management interface, does it change the likeihood of coming across a scroll-rewarding voyage?

I don't believe it changes your chances it just allocates that scroll type when you complete a scroll mission.

Weew, discovered 'teamviewer' for on my mobile phone. Works as a charm, no lag at all, even when i am outside of the house on a 3G network it works great. This way I wont have to worry that i miss out on voyages when I go to school from 8:30AM till 17:00PM

Hehe I can see it now:

"Teacher, I have to get me back to port, err have to go to restroom".

Its nice for flipping in the GE as well.

Although you *should* be focusing on school while in school.

You do realize specifying AM and PM while using military time is completely redundant, right?
