I really hope it is T85 2h weapons.

I'm torn
 
On one hand, I'd like to have a useful level 85 weapon.
 
On the other hand, I don't want useful equipment to be so easily obtainable.

Chaotics are very useful, and they do take a fair amount of time to get. Yes, once you are 95+ you can get a chaotic an hour, or even less, but going from 1 to 80 for your initial 2m xp is HORRIBLY painful.

I was getting at that a level 85 staff would be completely useless because a virtus wand and book would outclass it basically everywhere. The price of virtus would even go down because of illogical people (and you know we have a lot of those) would use the staff, which would make virtus even easier to get.


I've been very out of the loop with magic ever since I got my asc bows. Why is dualwield magic so good?

It's not, as far as I know, but only five tiers difference, that's borderline worth using dw instead of 2h, with 2h the higher-tiered.

Concentrated Blast is a 5s cooldown ability with 200% weapon damage over 4 ticks, or 300% over 6 ticks (I think). That's equivalent to 150% damage, better than Wrack, Sonic Blast, Impact (on stunnable targets) and Chain (if there is one target only). Dragon Breath, Asphyxiate, Wild Magic and Sunshine are all better, not sure about Combust, it's probably around the same.

If you assume that a t85 weapon is some 1900 damage (average of t80 and t90), it's a 6% boost over a t80 weapon.

Since Concentrated Blast is such a big boost, dw beats 2h at nearby tiers, but I don't know how the lower adrenaline gain (8% per 4 or 6 ticks) works out when using Sunshine/Metamorphosis and such.

That, what Quyneax said, and T80 dual weild magic is superior to T90 dual wield melee and range in a few situations.

it has nothing to do with abilities (well for range it does, but that's a different thing since jagex flat out ignored that there was a problem...) but with the fact that mage has easy multitarget capability


DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

Does anyone know what it means if I got the Occultist and Whaler in the port, but don't have access to their triple voyage? (I have already done the first of the 3 triples for them)

 

I also have the unlock missions for 2 of the new adventurers; could those be crowding the triple voyage out? I just don't really want to unlock them to stop them from crowding out the adventurers I need to finish my triples. :|

On re-roll, I got the tripple missionary/convict/boatinst AND the chef mission, so you can indeed have four of them in your port at once

Well triples only need 2/3 to show up. And actually I believe that the "meet the x" missions don't count towards the limit of 2 adventurers per day. We'll need to see more information about this..
