RuneFest 2013 Ticket Announcement

Yes! Runefest - the epic real life celebration of all things RuneScape - is once again coming to the shores of London and we want you to be part of it! From 10am to 11pm on the 2nd of November 2013, RuneFest 3 will be taking over the Tobacco Dock in London for what promises to be our most adventurous community extravaganza yet!

You’ll meet the makers of RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape, immerse yourself in the world of Gielinor, meet like-minded people and catch up with friends, new and old.

And after a day packed with the best RuneFest content yet, you are then invited to join the RuneScape Team as we let our hair down for the RuneFest After Party.

Your RuneFest 3 ticket will give full access to all areas - including the After Party - and will cost you £99.

Here's what your £99 will get you:

As you walk through the doors of RuneFest, we’ll be waiting for you armed with the best goody bags we’ve ever produced. Goody bags will be packed with great RuneFest 3-exclusive memorabilia, including collector’s pins, limited-edition t-shirts and a very special RuneFest 3 in-game item.

This year’s Insider Sessions will show you RuneScape like never before, and with our Meet the Maker sessions, you’ll be able to quiz JMods one-on-one about your favourite content. If they tell you a secret, though, try and keep it to yourself!

RuneFest wouldn't be RuneFest without a bevy of Gielinorian activities and this year’s no different. From Varrockian food to penguin hunts; treasure trails to sampling the unreleased content; we’ve got it covered.

As the sun goes down and last balloon has been dropped and popped, the After Party kicks off. Get stuck into the free bar during Happy Hour and then join the team for an evening of food and entertainment, featuring live music; the late, late gaming session; the new and improved Golden Gnome Awards; and much, much more.

We hope you’re as excited as we are for this year’s event! But hey, don’t take our word for it, here’s Mod Mark:

To get your hands on a ticket and keep up to date on the latest RuneFest 3 news and information, head on over to the brand-new RuneFest 3 microsite.
RuneFest 3 is just weeks away and we can’t wait to see you there. If you have any questions be sure to check out the FAQ, and to discuss the event, head on over to the forums.

Who's that handsome chap at 1:04 in the pale blue tshirt? :P

£99 seems kinda excessive price for this kind of event imo. I mean many conventions that are much bigger and have a whole host of different studios/franchises etc there go for the same or less ticket price; some of them even for several days access.

I'm sure it'll be good though.

Yea I was talking to a good friend of mine and she asked me if I lived in London if i would actually go and I said only to people watch. I have no interest in the panels or dressing up, we concluded we could just go to Brighton and people watch and probably have more fun and for a lot cheaper lol

I wonder if they will have a real squeal of fortune to spin.

"No, no, only TWO spins were covered in the ticket price. You have to pay extra after that."

It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

  • 5 weeks later...

Not normally one for bumping topics, but since it's less than two weeks away I thought I would see if we could get a list of the TIFers who are going.

List so far:

@Ambler

@BloodAngel

@calcarb

@chenw

@Den

@Ezee

@Mercifull

Anyone else?
