Interface settings - Interface Options - There is a 'toggle quick-iventory ops'

 

It gets rid of the pop up. The boxes remain but arnt obnoxious anymore.

I paid a visit to the Naragi homeworld, it's pretty much exactly as it was during TWW. Nothing to do there that you didn't already do in the quest. Could make for a cool Divination location if they could add another.

The Naragi homeworld isn't on Gielinor so it can't be a divination location

 

Unless there are remnants of the gods who died there like Skargoroth.

 

 

the place is from your memories, so it's not even real anyway (although confusingly, everybody else is also visible, so it's the public version)

 

the text has been slightly changed to reflect the context in your own head, and there's a tiny feels moment at the end of the path

So what rare drops are covered in the beam of lights?

Jagex directly referenced Clues, Effigies and drops worth >1m.

 

What about:

- Slayer head drops

- Rare pet drops (eg: Cresbot)

- Spin tickets

- Quest specific drops (eg: special bones)

- Champion scrolls

 

I know champ scrolls and spin tickets already notified you if one dropped, just checking.

They should make a dancing goblin appear for spin tickets. Community would love that.

 

Infact they should do the same thing they did in dungeon keeper and play that 'party like 1999' tune.

Oh, so if I understand you correctly, it just stops the annoying right click options on the inventory pane?

Yeah, no more left-click annoyance. I really like the drag-to-use-on as well, it makes a lot of sense and it might speed some stuff up.

 

Even so, it'd be a credit to Jagex' honesty if they just went to a monthly update schedule with weekly patch notes.

Did a bit of killing at Chaos Giants today to see what the improved drops are:

 

4,900-7,400 coin drops

 

30 noted Coal

10 noted Gold

20 Death runes

40 Chaos runes

Muddy Keys

Rune dagger

Rune Scimatar

Addy Plates

3 Irit seeds

3 Ranarr seeds

2 Avantoe seeds

 

Noted Grimy herbs:

4  Irits

4  Ranarr

2  Avantoe

1  Lant

 

5 mh dragon axes  / 5 ofh dragon axes -- seperate drops

 

Charms don't drop too often, when they do they are mostly golds.

I'd imagine there are more drops but i kept getting those few drops for an hour.

When I saw how shitty Drake wings were last week, I predicted they'd be releasing better wings soon.

Little did I know it would be the week right after. Still I CALLED IT!!

 

It's like a giant middle finger to the hordes of people who probably bought Drakewing just for the wings! Hahaha

 

All of the new ones look terrible too though, save maybe the skeletal ones. I think I'll stick to my Corruption Aura, thanks.

What is this "quick inv" that people are saying is the best update?

You have two slots in your inventory that have hotkeys on the action bar.

 

If you right-click an item in your inventory, you get a menu with two extra options: 'set as action bar slot A' and 'set as action bar slot B' (in addition to the normal drop/use/whatnot). If you left-click an empty slot, you get those two options plus cancel.

 

With this new option, you can remove these options, so you won't get a menu when you click an empty inventory slot.

This depends, does it limit the chat between those you have a trade window or assistance window open with? If so, HOLY CRAP FINALLY. I've waited so long...

 

That has been possible since the interface overhaul in 2007, I think the functionality was removed with the NIS though.

The new GE design has a lot of unused space, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I really like it, actually. You can tell a lot of effort went into that to make it as simple and quick as possible, and I appreciate that.

 

The change is uncomfortable but if all I can really complain about is empty space and the bright blue colors/not as sharp contrast then that's a pretty big win.

The GE has changed a bit, you can't view information about items now (if you went to buy an item you use to be able to see the stats in a separate box).

 

When I first saw it, my response was - "It looks a little too IOs7 ..."  :unsure:

The ascension legiones are apparently dropping sirenic scales at about 1 per 10 kills.

I don't like this new G.E. interface because it is much too responsive (you click on an item in the retrieve box and the interface changes screen immediately, but it still has to wait a tick before the item is actually added to your inventory; it isn't properly synchronized, which makes it look unprofessionnal.)

 

I also don't like how it doesn't automatically attemp to sell every item in a stack and defaults to 1. You try to sell a stack of 50 items, G.E. shows 50 for a few ticks then it goes back to 1. Why?

 

I like the visuals, though, because I think every interface matching together and using the same style is a good thing.

Blue's not really my cup of tea, but they said they'd add an option to change to different interface looks later on; it's just a matter of patience.

 

(Besides, bigger + - buttons makes it easier to click on them.)
