ecamaram
You know this D&D called Familiarisation where you can win around half an hour of triple charms? Well, I'm wondering what the best monsters is to kill for triple charms. I did a comparison way back between waterfiends and giant rock crabs. With the charms dropped by the giant rock crabs in half an hour, I could get more summoning xp than the xp I could get using the crimson charms from the waterfiends they dropped in that half an hour. Though, I spent significantly more money than I did using the crimson charms. So I'm wondering; what monster do you prefer to kill during the triple charm time? Yak-scythe
Hellhounds - drop golds rather commonly. Go there with charming imp and guthans afk and watch your pile rise. If not that you can sit there and kill them, but gold charms are alot cheaper summon exp so that could be a good option for you. :) Runescape is a haven.. Quyneax
Hellhounds, and gold charms in general, and Guthan's in general, are horribly slow for everything and anything. It's technically an answer to the question asked, but it's not good advice. Yak-scythe
Really? I didn't think gold charms were that bad exp for summoning? Runescape is a haven..
chenw
It's that bad. 1 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. The Marquis
Gold Charms are truly horrific. Glacors is a good option. Obviously waterfiends too :) Dark MarquisVisit my tiny blog. The current HYT relationships
Sattern
If you don't mind using gold charms, then killing giant rock crabs is the best as you get 3 charms per drop which would increase significantly. However, if you want to save time Waterfiends or Black Demons are your best options. Sattern.
mlskid
I would probably rank overall charm gathering for triple charms something like thisGlacors>WFS/Daggs(unless daggonoths got nerfed?)>Black Demons>Corp>everything else. All in all Glacors are amazing anyway you slice it. Need charms? Check, Magic/defense exp? Check. Need cash? Check. Need bossing experience? Check. Well there you go. Hedgehog
I'm not convinced that glacors are more charms/hour than waterfiends Doing familiarization before a waterfiends task would probably be the best
Baffler
Personally, I use my familiarisation at dagannoths. I've only compared it against waterfiends, and for me it's the faster of the two. I haven't got access to glacors, so that isn't an option for me. Here are my last four trips using triple charms, in the hide tags: [hide][/hide] Also worth counting are the spirit gems.Sapphire = 10 crimsonsEmerald = 20 crimsonsRuby = 30 crimsons It would be best to use them all as blue charms, but I never have enough so it's best to consider them as crimsons. Use any spirit rubies as blues when you can though. Counting the spirit gems, I get these results.693 crimsons777 crimsons677 crimsons821 crimsonsThat averages out to 742 crimsons per 40 minutes of triple charms.
