barbwireboy3
I'll have enough tokens to get my first chaotic soon, but I'm not sure which one to get. Once I've got 80 attack and chaotics, I'll probably be doing a little bit of slayer, but mainly frost dragons when I get 85 dung. I'm thinking dual rapiers would be the best for this, though I'm not sure if they're the best chaotic for frost dragons/in general. I'll be getting more at a later point, but which chaotics would be best for now? EDIT:Another question about frost dragons:What gear and invent should I take, assuming I'll have all 80 combats by this point?I'd have dual claws, super antifires/extremes, best BoB would be war tort. Can afford to spend abit on gear, but not too much (about 30m at most).
Quyneax
Dual claws are best for melee, for ranged just stick with a royal crossbow for now, chaotic staff is basically the only affordable magic weapon (abs is also good, but still 3 tiers lower). In terms of improvements, whip to claws is the biggest, abs to staff second biggest, royal to ccbow smallest (being close enough to zero). 1 Supporter of Zaros | Quest Cape owner since 22 may 2010 | No skills below 99 | Total level 2595 | Completionist Cape owner since 17th June 2013 | Suggestions 99 summoning (18th June 2011, previously untrimmed) | 99 farming (14th July 2011) | 99 prayer (8th September 2011) | 99 constitution (10th September 2011) | 99 dungeoneering (15th November 2011) 99 ranged (28th November 2011) | 99 attack, 99 defence, 99 strength (11th December 2011) | 99 slayer (18th December 2011) | 99 magic (22nd December 2011) | 99 construction (16th March 2012) 99 herblore (22nd March 2012) | 99 firemaking (26th March 2012) | 99 cooking (2nd July 2012) | 99 runecrafting (12th March 2012) | 99 crafting (26th August 2012) | 99 agility (19th November 2012) 99 woodcutting (22nd November 2012) | 99 fletching (31st December 2012) | 99 thieving (3rd January 2013) | 99 hunter (11th January 2013) | 99 mining (21st January 2013) | 99 fishing (21st January 2013) 99 smithing (21st January 2013) | 120 dungeoneering (17th June 2013) | 99 divination (24th November 2013) Tormented demon drops: twenty effigies, nine pairs of claws, two dragon armour slices and one elite clue | Dagannoth king drops: two dragon hatchets, two elite clues, one archer ring and one warrior ring Glacor drops: four pairs of ragefire boots, one pair of steadfast boots, six effigies, two hundred lots of Armadyl shards, three elite clues | Nex split: Torva boots | Kalphite King split: off-hand drygore mace 30/30 Shattered Heart statues completed | 16/16 Court Cases completed | 25/25 Choc Chimp Ices delivered | 500/500 Vyrewatch burned | 584/584 tasks completed | 4000/4000 chompies hunted
barbwireboy3
So frost dragons weakness to stab doesn't matter much? Also, claws is only 200k tokens for main hand and off-hand right, 100k each? Thanks :)

Thanks :) Yeah, you get both for 200k whereas it would cost 300k for cls/cr. The weakness isn't really a big deal as long as you are using the right combat stye (especially for the kind of things you will be killing). “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Major Dash
Bandos since you can't afford Torva. “I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”“Do you have any regrets?”“I don’t. Also having TWW does for the new abilities is nice (Once you hit 85 that is) Sig
barbwireboy3
Is there much of a difference between chaotic claws and rapiers? Claws have raised by a ridiculous amount, and would rather not pay that much if the difference isn't really that great :\
Quyneax
The difference is small, about 1%. That said, you buy rapiers at 20% charge, whereas claws start at 100% charge. To repair your rapiers, you'll need 2.4m gp (1.6 mh + 0.8 oh) or 240k gp and 24k tokens. Claws might also get a special attack soon, which is why they've gone up. Ammako
I think the reason why claws went up is because DClaws are probably already getting their spec back. (I'm assuming you meant chaotic ones getting spec, but if you didn't, then nevermind.)
