Alg
It's 100% accurate unless you're using it incorrectlyI'd like to think it's not my fault that Jagex has no idea that a "frontal cone" occupies more than just one or two squares directly adjacent to you, but I know you'll tell me otherwise. 3 I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
Sy_Accursed
Good quest, enjoyed the lore. As usual, could be a bit longer, could have a bit tougher bosses, and stuns are bleeping annoying. How about giving monsters *no* stuns and a *good* ability rotation with *double* dps. That would make combat more fun.[hide]I sent Hannibus with Kerepac, mainly because I want to give the dragonkin the best possible chance of breaking free from the Stone, as that'll free it up for me to try fancy stuff with it. I know we are supposed to be unable to ascend, being a world guardian and all, but I think SoJ sans dragonkin obstruction >> world guardian powers.[/hide] Doesnt the fact our world guardian immunity allowed us to invade the curse of the stone - something created by an elder god - so easily kinda put a spanner in the works for the idea that elder god power is enough to break our immunity? [hide]I don't think that this was the full power of the Stone we were fighting, only a part of the power of the curse resting on that specific dragonkin, which we fiddled with (which got us the response from the echo of Jas) for a bit. I think of what we did more as re-routing the curse to a less harmful thing, such as re-routing the rage to spread evenly across multiple emotions, than actually removing/destroying anything. The world guardians are chosen by Guthix' power, which ought to be inferior to the Stone.[/hide] [Hide] Maybe not due to the fact Guthix was a tier 2 God and the Elders are only the one tire above him [/hide] I think to an extent it could go either way on Elder gods affecting us.I mean this episode suggests their magic is indeed similar to the other gods meaning our protection should at least give us a fair bit of immunity. But equally they are more powerful than the one who made our shield. But again the elder gods don't seem to be practiced in doing protection spells and that sort of work, they are purely world builders. Wkw
So, how much does it boost the ability?Apparently, it makes the ability deal 10% more damage, as well as having a chance of applying a short combust effect (188% damage over 3 hits). So, would make it not very good at nex if it puts a bleed on in blood phase, then? Yoko Kurama
Considering how most buy/sell offers I've seen for them are all around 10-20m, expecting 65m for it is ridiculous. They're far from super rare. Super rare's probably pushing it. A few people had drops whilst I was there. Even if the price is that high, I'm not that bothered. I don't even play enough to spend or use 100m. To clarify I did not literally mean that it was in the super rare category of drops (though, I know I did use the term). I know the wikia lists this as rare only. I meant it was just another monster you'd have to kill maybe a few hundred-thousand times to get the drops. There doesn't seem to be much more to Celestial Dragons: camp for a really long time, and get them. I would not expect 65M for it (the armour is not in actuality all that good), but if people in world 2 are impatient enough and rich enough to blow that much money on it... xpx
I think a better question is whether they are good xp. Given their LP/xp ratio they should be atleast decent, but that all depends on how much their special attacks slow you down. Anyone got any figures with asensions/steel titan? Saradomin_Mage
I went with Pernix and Ascensions, ovls and anguish, and was able to consistently kill them before they activated their special attack. Full manual control, and getting triple damage from frag shot. In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers. Urza285
The bosses were easy to power through on both ocassions. Using chain/roccochete was a good idea, but generally easy. 1 Maxed [February 14, 2012] | Completionist [October 25, 2012] | Trimmed Completionist [in Progress]Visit my Blog! Platinum_Myr
I prefer bonus xp instead of just rewarded xp, since this does require training, and has a theoretical cap of 100m per skill, (assuming it stays as 2x), since you would have 200m in a skill. Practically the cap for most players would be <7m since they tend to stop caring at 99, and such. Raw xp has a twice as high a cap per skill per player, and *also* doesn't force actual training, so it can effectively save 100% of time, instead of only 50%. Wkw
I'd like instant XP to be rewarded for flat out one time things, like quest rewards, mini quest rewards, things like that. Bonus XP should be rewarded for things you can repeat. strilmus
Quick question, but can those Celestial dragons be effectively meleed? I really don't want to have to range them. their defense is "kind of high like automatons" but you could probably drygore them if you are really against the idea of just using some darts or something i don't really recommend getting in biting range of a dragon copied from the steel dragon template unless you enjoy spending time healing instead of being a just out of reach [wagon] with a lot of super antifires

But I could easily just buy Ascensions if required. Thanks though :D LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. Squakus
I loved the quest. All those lore bits... I also really liked how they updated the music tracks used in the quest to orchestrated versions. [hide]Deciding Hannibus' fate wasn't too hard. Struggling within the system is alright, but bringing in outside forces seems wrong to me. There is also something nice about being part of a whole and knowing when to move on. Every race must go into decline eventually, to pave the way for the one that comes next. This sums up my feelings perfectly: It is the order of things.[/hide] 1 As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero. Blyaunte
A good quest lore-wise but the boss was much too easy to defeat for a "Grand-Master" quest.
