Hey guys, just made a thread about this then realised I posted it in the wrong section, so I'll paste what I wrote here:

 

 

Hey guys, thought I'd just add a little tip I recently discovered for awesome mining xp.

 

It is, however, boring a.f. so it's up to you whether you want to stick with your gold.

Firstly, start Brink of Extinction, but don't finish it. One of the first things you have to do is mine some tokkul pieces from the second statue south of the Fight Kiln. 

Go there, and mine it. Space through the first 2 bits of dialogue and you get 250xp, easy right? Now right click the tokkul, click destroy, hit Y and its gone. repeat. a lot. = 99 mining.

 

The good thing about this spot is that your mining level, summoning level, bank worth don't affect the xp. As far as I know, someone with 72 mining and a bronze pickaxe with 0 summoning will get the same xp as someone with 99 mining, dragon pickaxe and a lava titan.

 

So you high level guys might want to ignore this and stick with something a bit easier like concentrated gold+urns+titan, but for you mid level miners this is a great way to get some fast levels.

Just let it be noted that this is in all likelihood a bug and would get you undesirable consequences if/when Jagex finds out about it and patches it. This of course is more likely to happen now that its been posted on these forums which mods sometimes come to view.

I doubt you would get punished for something like this honestly. It's just a training method that Jagex didn't plan on making.

 

There have been other instances of stuff like this and all they did was remove it from the game.

Its not exploitation, however either way WBS outclass it so jagex definitely wont give out any consequences when their own balancing is so bad that true methods are 10x as effecient. (Wb are over 1m xp/hr)

reminds me of when people trained agility at that one myreque house during the quest
