Tim
Alienware aren't that flashy. I own one myself (due to my studies providing me with one)and the only thing it has over other laptops is a fancy color-changing keyboard. They're heavy as all hell too. 1 Popoto.~<

@Dan3HitU
They actually suck for playing RuneScape, Mark told me a while back that at the last RuneFest, quite a lot of them simply broke, overheated and didn't even last the full weekend. Platinum_Myr
Alienware is flashy, but I don't find their build construction very satisfying, and also they do tend to overheat a bit. Sorator
Meh, standard Facebook giveaway promo. Unusual to see Jagex doing one, but whatever, it's relatively free advertising. I've never entered one of these things expecting to actually use the prize - that shit's going on Amazon. 1 Obtained quest cape and base 92 before obtaining any 99s! Currently finishing out my 99s with the (long-distant) goal of comp cape.

Golvellius
I have one of their desktops. It's pretty good. It's already lasted two years without repairs. The computer I put together just before that went through 1 hard drive, 2 graphics cards, and 1 memory stick in that time and I tossed it when the on-board video device went to pot on year 3.Screw the whole building your own crap. Most modular/free standing computer parts on the market are cheap garbage from SE Asia. You realize that if you buy the right parts, you can build a very powerful desktop for a fraction of the cost for an alienware...Plus, Dell used very sub par parts 1 Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum

I've never ever heard of anyone using chinese knockoff parts. Of course, I'd avoid secondhand graphic cards (usually worked 24/7 for bitcoin mining). 1 My blog
jasignhagj
No need to use knockoff parts, if all you play is RS you can build a box that will max it for $400 (assuming you're comfortable with Linux or pirated Windows).
