They would be stupid not to, but they dumped a load of resources in to it and hired staff so they are stuck now. Mod Ash and Reach gladly transferred themselves over to OSRS, Mat K was merely relocated back from SD/whatever other Jagex project, and Nexus was recruited because he was familiar with the systems. 1 In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers. Sy_Accursed Posted August 29, 2013 Share Posted August 29, 2013 I wouldn't be surprised if it's to do with bol; unless I'm mistaken we have not had a week with no system update since bol came out and it'd make sense that they need to preload assets for the Duke result and the army result (as well as removing assets for losing choices from prior votes); possibly even extends to needing to actually put the data for the tier 3 emotes and armour items in game. The official news post will be published shortly, but this update is the content intended for this week, minus the loyalty/Solomons part. The main element is NIS improvements but there are some other bits and bobs too. Possibly giving Max back his cape and moving battle of lumbridge a step forward.
