stealthchris117
Bah, Jagex, let us old enough accounts who missed these events finally get hold of them (I want my scythe and bunny ears) AND open up the alternative ones to people who are willing to shell out loyalty points! Pretty please! I completely agree. I have Bunny Ears, which proves my account is old enough to have all non-tradeables. But I missed the Scythe, not from not trying either. I still remember logging on that day and searching everywhere trying to find one, but never did find a Scythe. It has actually bothered me a little for a long time. I would love the opportunity to get the exact Scythe I missed, I don't want a newer, different version. I'm honestly OK if they give all players the ability to have the originals through loyalty points or if they made it only available to people who have an old enough account to have been there at that drop. But either way I would really prefer if they were the exact same as the originals. ---------------------------- ';..;' ----------------------------
Wkw
Have comp. Only trim reqs I need now are last ports and ROT6 which I'm not sure I'll ever manage to get through, so I need more longterm goals. I need more stuff that is the length or longer of the cw games req, but preferably not connected to comp cape so no one gets all complainy. Thought Prestige was gonna be it but community sunk that.add me. i might be able to take you on a ROT6 run sometime.By any chance do you help teach on runs?If my team is +1 On topic: I will be voting against holiday items for loyalty points, as I feel it compromises the integrity of those items, much as I may want them.Teach me to, mate! DownToFletch
I've been around for a while, but my newest account is only about 2 or 3 years old (the one I'm playing on). I'd like to have all the old non-tradeables :)
Quasar
I just think it's really disrespectful to players who do have those items. Don't get me wrong, I'd love some bunny ears, but I realize that, much like botting, it compromises the integrity of the game. 1 best drops (reasonably accurate/up to date): 1x Elysian Sigil (LS), 1x Arcane Sigil (cs), 4x Armadyl Hilt (solo at 100m, 100m, 50m, and 5m), 2x Saradomin Hilt (solo at 25m), 5x Draconic Visage (34m,1.2m,1.2m) and various cs/ls/ffa Nex splits. Mercifull
At least they're finally being honest about how they're going to pander to the maxed crowd. Can't really blame them since it wouldn't surprise me at all if maxed (or "high level") players are the majority of the playerbase now. With the huge amount of free xp Jagex is flinging at everyone these days for doing bugger-all, we'll all be maxed soon. 2 Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Jabuli
I have all untradeable holiday items and I don't mind them adding replica versions of them to the loyalty store. Going to vote yes for those who want to get them.
God Of Lego
I think they should have a system where they can earn the previously not claimed items each years holiday event. For example if you have 2009-2013s, you could get 2008 in 2014s holiday event then because you have that. Next year you get 2007. It builds backwards until you claim them all. meaning if you started in 2009 it would take you 7-8 years to get all event items whilst keeping up with new ones.

Kaur
If only they'd introduce a system where we could 'group' together our accounts and have shared Diango storage. There are so many of us who quit on their old characters and started new ones to have a fresh start, to get a new name, make a pure, some just got banned and later unbanned etc etc etc. Anyways, I'll be voting no. Leave the grandpas alone and don't steal their toys. And those with 'old enough accounts' - go buy a veteran cape.

Platinum_Myr
I would like this, as I missed several holiday items due to periods of inactivity. I think as long as they are visually distinct enough and cost a fair amount of loyalty points it would be alright. Blutters
I've often thought it was somewhat unfair that bunny ears and scythes were so restricted when they are quite unique but in a certain sense, generic items. Scythes are sort of a general weapon type really, and we have seemingly a whole line of animal ears that bunny ears would have fit nicely into. I would have rather seen scythes be introduced across metal types as a "stab" version of a halberd with a reach like one, but a more generic override is preferable to nothing other than the incredibly exclusive original and golden scythes, and highly fantasized new reaper scythe. Ambler
I'd rather just make all holiday items overrides, it allows the people who have them to actually show off the fact that they have them, while still being able to do combat related tasks (Also- Easter Egg rest please? ) ^^My blog of EoC PvM, lols and Therapy.^^My livestream- Currently: Offline :(Offical Harpy Therapist of the Mad[hide=Lewtations]Barrows drops: Dharok's helm x2, Guthan's helm, Ahrim's top, Hood and skirt, Torag's hammers, Karils skirt, Karil's top, Torag's helm, Verac's skirt, Verac's Flail, Dharok's Platebody.Dag kings drops: Lost count! :wall:4k+ Glacors, 7 Ragefires, 4 Steadfasts, 4 Glaivens, 400+ shards![/hide]
Blyaunte
I've been playing Runescape from the get-go but not on this character, which I created for RS2 and have played ever since. I don't regret making the switch and starting over as it was a necessary step at that time. However, I do regret losing my bunny ears. I also regret that I never managed to get the rubber chicken, which I'd also like to have. Any way that I can "claim" or otherwise obtain such items -- be it through doing seasonal events, "loyalty" points, or whatever -- would be worth it, as far as I am concerned. Anyway, scythes make terrible weapons, and they don't have reach either, typically. I'd rather see glaives or polehammers or whatnot. Sy_Accursed
My only concern with this game is it seems almost too easy for the guards. Robbers have to blend in and get loot and get it back out and avoid being stuck in jail for over a minute.Guards have to spot and accuse people and if they accuse you your run energy gets so nerfed you basically can't get away, they have an alarm mine that can be put right in the 'bank' that you can't go near, they have a noticeboard that will tell your disguise and they have a means to get a trail put on you. I mean it has potential for balance issues alone in the fact Guards could just camp the bank and spam accuse everyone, but then paste on all those boons they mentioned and it sounds kinda biased against the robbers to a slightly ridiculous extreme. I mean we shall see how it pans out, but I am a bit concerned that its gonna be poorly balanced based on the assumption everyone will run around and play fairly opposed to the obvious spam click and camping routes. It's the kind game that really needs to be biased in construct towards the robbers precisely because the guards role is somewhat easier seemingly.
