Only 7990?

And I did fine with Subjugation and Chaotic staff

Granted I needed to use up a full inventory of Rocktail with Overload + some Prayer pots along with a full Yak of Rocktail.

I am not surprised by that 90%+ of people chose to help Zaros. He really knows how to convince doubters. And he gave us loads of cool stuff.

I will never trust that guy though. #Wearethe7%

Just tag the ice one first, get it down to low health then tag the rest, killing the ice asap.

Also, how the hell do you die 7 times on Freneskae? I suppose the Seren obelisks could have caught some people out.. but 7 times??

That advice sounds kinda messed up.

Every other strategy out there says to tag the ice one last and kill it firs because its special is the most problematic in terms of survival.

Tagging it first so its on you longer just seems like a dumb move.

All the strats I read said tag blood, get it low.

Tag smoke get it low

Tag shadow get it low

Tag ice kill it

Kill shadow, then smoke then blood.

Based on the idea that blood is the least dangerous, at worst it heals itself so it being on you the most isn't to bad.

Then smoke because whilst its thing is DPS its not too bad.

Then Shadow because its DPS power is quite high

Then Ice because being frozen can royally screw you in terms of shadow and smoke attacking and requires extra tactics/abilities to cope with.

Tagging it first just means you have to cope with all its freezing bs whilst trying to ignore to chase down the other 3 and then turn around and deal with it, tagging it last you can focus in on it entirely and destroy it asap.

With your strategy, you have to kill Ice from full hp while EVERYTHING is attacking you though. I got ice low, tagged the rest then quickly finished Ice off. Tagging is hardly difficult with range/mage so I'd highly recommend getting ice low before tagging the rest.

That advice sounds kinda messed up.

Are you using the "tag blood first" strategy and having trouble? Maybe you could try to tag ice first instead.

If you can't deal with ice's freezing attacks when it's the only one of you, idk why you'd want to prolong your suffering by having to deal with 20k life points of ice while all the other nihil are on you too.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

Ice is the one that [bleep]s you over, hence why you solo most of it, then tag the rest and kill it first... I'm pretty certain that this was established as the easiest way to do it on release day.

I sounds like sy might be combining both methods for one of the worst methods. The one I heard similar to the one he mentioned was

tag blood and get it low

tag smoke and get it low

tag shadow and get it low

tag ice

kill blood

kill smoke

kill shadow

then just solo ice.

Baasically the idea being basically the same as the others where for most of the time you're killing ice its solo, but getting the others out of the way first.

R.I.P. The olde nite. A legend is gone but not forgotten.

seems less luck reliant anyway if you can get them down that quickly, but to avoid risk, i would put killing blood third instead because if you somehow get frozen it will be the least likely to start cooking you alive on the spot
