Level Up

Recommended Posts

I just recently joined RuneScape community and I am currently free to play. I am trying to level up and get to know my way around a bit and then I fully intend on getting a membership. I am just looking for an opinion on where the best location would be to level up my attack. I am level 6 strength, 19 attack, 28 magic, and 10 prayer. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated because Stev really is no help. :-(. He just likes to giggle and call me a noob.

Been a while since I've been F2P or such a low level but... You could try the stronghold of security maybe? There are various monsters there of varying levels. It's located in the hole in the center of the barbarian village.

Psh, Stev is just jealous of your stats.  Try training at low level mobs, like cows, chickens, the level 1 trolls, goblins, etc.  When you get around 40 you can graduate from that and train at hill giants, in a shack by the Cooking Guild.  You'll need a Brass key to get in there, which you can purchase from the Grand Exchange.

If you need any more help you're welcome to pm me and I won't laugh...at least not to your face ;).

I miss the feeling of just starting Runescape! I tried making a new account, and even playing Old School Runescape but just couldn't get that nostalgia flowing  :(

Apparently these days it's best to stay in Burthorpe and train combat there in the abandoned mine, slaying the Trolls that are there, they give 40xp and are really easy to kill. You want to stay here until you are level 20 in your combat stats, as well as burying the bones for prayer xp. If this is too crowded then killing chickens is always good, just a little bit slower, you can find chickens in farms around Lumbidge.

I just want to thank everyone for their help. I have spent a lot of time in the past two days in the stronghold of security leveling up and its definitely

the best place for anyone level 30 or lower to level up. I also received a pair of armour boots which was an added bonus!

Thanks for all your help :-)
