The Final Four Clans

Members only

You must complete Plague's End to enter Prifddinas.

The elf city is now fully grown, and all of its districts are available for your use:

Voice of Seren bonuses now apply to two clans at once, meaning more choice of boosted training opportunities.

Below are highlights of what's available from each clan. Visit the wiki for full details of what Prifddinas has to offer.

Clan Amlodd - Divination and Summoning

  • Shadow creatures: kill these for a chance to get shadow cores. These can be converted at the nearby light rift into light cores, which are an ingredient for creating light creature pouches.
  • Light creature familiar: grants a passive chance to instantly convert harvested memories outside of Prifddinas. Its special move grants a six-minute 'enlightened' buff, which gives you better rewards on the Hefin Agility Course, increases the instant memory conversion chance, and grants a chance for double blue tears in Tears of Guthix. Finally, it can teleport you to Tears of Guthix or to tormented demons.
  • Impling collector: Daffyd the impling collector wants you to collect one of each type of implng, in exchange for cosmetic 'thinker's' robes, a hearty chunk of Hunter XP and a switchable choice of increased XP or increased loot when catching implings.
  • Lord Amlodd: not just a spinner of tall tales, he can also trade pouches for a portion of their spirit shard cost, much like Bogrog.

Clan Ithell - Construction and Crafting

  • Crystal singing: now fully unlocked, the art of crystal singing lets you create crystal tools with special skilling effects, consumable teleport items, and attuned crystal weapons - level 80 degrade-to-dust weapons, with a chance to do increased damage that increases with your Agility level.
  • Crystal hatchet and pickaxe: Lady Ithell can upgrade the dragon hatchet and pickaxe to crystal variants, even if they're stored in your tool belt. She can convert the Imcando or gilded tools to crystal varieties, but you will lose any additional benefits and will not be refunded the materials used to create them.
  • Harmonium harps: playing these gives you Crafting XP and non-tradeable harmonic dust, which is important for crystal singing.
  • Mining: you can mine soft clay, ready to be used for crafting, or crystal-flecked sandstone, needed to make crystal flasks.
  • Glasswork: a crystal glass machine allows you to make the crystal glass needed for crystal flasks. It also performs all functions of the machine in Oog'log.

Clan Hefin - Agility and Prayer

  • Serenity posts: hop onto these to earn up to 20,000 Agility XP per day. Match the stances demonstrated by Lady Hefin for the best XP rate.
  • Agility course: complete laps while looking out for randomly spawning shortcuts and building up Velocity - which lets you skip an obstacle when at 100%. Each lap also gives you the chance to earn rewards, such as a cosmetic outfit, four emotes, lore book pages, and useful Elf City skilling items.
  • Corrupted Seren Stone: purchase cleansing crystals from a Hefin monk at the cathedral and click on the corrupted Seren Stone at the centre to cleanse it. It's a low-intensity way to train Prayer if you're looking to relax and chat.

Clan Meilyr - Dungeoneering and Herblore

  • Two resource dungeons: accessible at 95 and 115 Dungeoneering, these contain various skilling locations, NPCs offering useful services, and enemies to fight.
  • Gorajo cards: the 95 dungeon contains a gorajo NPC, who will give you cards reminiscent of those seen in Sinkholes, which will give you a range of benefits while dungeoneering in Daemonheim.
  • Divine locations: these spawn at random in the 95 dungeon.
  • Motherlode Maw: found in the 115 resource dungeon, this requires at least 95 in all skills, and grants daily rewards useful for those aspiring to gain their completionist capes.
  • Edimmu: these lurk in the 115 resource dungeon and can only be killed while on a slayer assignment for them, available from Duradel, Kuradal or Morvran. They can drop a new follower pet, and blood shards, which can be used to upgrade the amulet of fury or certain dungeoneering reward necklaces. As an Early Bird Bonus, you'll be twice as likely to get edimmu as a slayer assignment for the next two weeks!
  • Harmony pillars: new farming patches, which allow you to grow harmony moss - an important ingredient in perfect potions. Pillars are planted with seeds available from a nearby NPC or on the Grand Exchange, and attuned to a random skill. As you earn XP in that skill, the moss on the pillar grows.
  • Perfect juju potions: made by combining juju potions with harmony moss, these have a range of new skill-specific effects.
  • Combination potions: with crystal flasks in your inventory, many high-level and utility potions can now be combined to create six-dose potions, granting the effects of both. Recipes for these must be unlocked, some by simply visiting the herblore shop in the Meilyr district and paying a sum of coin, and others by finding recipes in Daemonheim first.
_____________________________________________________________________
Enjoy!

There's loads more to do in each district than is listed above: lore drops to find, memoriam crystals to uncover, secret titles to unlock...

The best way to appreciate Prifddinas is to get stuck in - explore every nook and cranny, and discover for yourself what the elf city has to offer.

As we've said before, this is the year's biggest update, and you have been the driving force throughout its development. Get to know the city, think about what you like - and what you're less keen on - and let us know on the forums.

“I had a feeling we weren’t coming back from this fight when it began.”

“Do you have any regrets?”

“I don’t. It seems surprising, I know, but I wouldn’t change a thing. This is how it was meant to be.”

“Huh, you never really notice how lovely the day is until you realize you’ll never see it again.”

“Mmmhmm.”

It is once again possible to close the search option with the escape key.

What about those of us who broke our escape key in rage last week though?  :(

It is looking like it will take about 8 hours to get dust for crystal hatchet/pickaxe. That's a little disappointing.

Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!

Can people please report how many moss they harvest when they finish a harmony pillar. All i've read so far is that you get 1-5 and id like to know how common it is to get 5.

Even if you get 5 every time, for the 'of the Meilr' title requirement of getting 200 moss thats like 8m xp you need to get which seems quite an overkill!

For the new potions do you get the journals at the end of a dg or is it like sagas and they appear randomly in dg?

Meilyr workers seem to be easier to pp than Crwys, even though they have a higher thieving req. They give noted vials of water/snapegrass and blue dragonscale dust/ dungeoneering token bag (10 tokens). Moss seed seems to be rare-ish. Noted ZAMORAK'S FAVOUR (1). I'd imagine you get the other Juju pots aswell.

Amlodd clan pickpockets are charms/divination energy/empty pouches.

Hefin pickpockets are agility related items energy/agility potions, summer pies and somewhat rare prayer related items such as noted accursed ashes. Rare pickpocket seems to be dragon bones.

Ithell pickpockets are tea, noted planks (oak/teak so far), noted soda ash. I also got a crystal tool seed. HARMONIC DUST as rare pickpocket.

Will update as I do more thieving.

If my math is correct, agility course is roughly 85k xp/hr@ level 94, not including any shortcuts or extra xp from the light creatures, assuming a 50 second run and 1184 xp/run.

* 4 pillars which can be raked of weeds in the Meilyr area. Random skills are applied to them. I got crafting/herblore/fletching/strength. Once you apply the seed to the pillar you can't take it off until it's fully grown. You have to get a certain amount of xp then you can harvest moss. .First stage of moss growth requires 50k xp in the related skill.

20k agility xp/day activity in the  Hefin sector; you have to match the 4 stances of Lady Hefin to receive the proper xp, otherwise you get a low amount. Without bonus xp it seems to be slower than normal training, just that it's not click intensive.

You can mine 50 crystal sandstone per day and turn it into crystal vials, similar to red sandstone in Oo'glog.

Lady Ithell can attune your dragon hatchet/pickaxes to crystal. Payment for hatchet is 4k harmonic dust.

Sand pit really close to bank, in the Ithell area.

Meilyr clan has a store, from which you can buy 4 moss seeds (50k each) and other herblore related items. Recipe store 17 recipes buyable for gold. Rest have to be found while doing dungeons.

Grand strength/defence/attack/magic/defense => 100k gold each, they boost 14%+2.

Replenishment potion=>200k gold, adrenaline by 25%, restore all skills by 25%+8 and restore prayer points 25%+80.

Wyrmfire potion->200k gold, "reduces dragon and wyvern fire damage taken by 100% for 360s".

Supreme strength/defence/magic/ranging/attack=> 500k gold, 16%+4.

Brightfire potion->600k gold, restores 486 prayer points over 6 minutes and reduces dragonfire damage by 100% for 360s.

Super prayer renewal potion=>750k gold , 555 prayer points over 6 minutes, 25%+70 prayer points restored.

Holy overload potion->700k gold, combat skills boosted 15%+3 and restores 486 prayer points over 6 minutes.

Searing overload potion->700k gold, combat boosted by 15%+3 and reduces dragonfire damage by 100% for 360s.

Supreme overload potion->900k gold, boosts combat 16%+4

9 recipes to be unlocked from dungeoneering, including 3 high level ones.

115 dg and a task. They are a bad slayer task(~130-140k slayer xp) and the drops aren't great. Can be dangerous if you have alot of them piling you. Mighty edimmu is quite deadly if not handled correctly and has 96k lp, but drops normal stuff(apart from the rare chance of pet drop). Overall, not a good task.

First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.

First to 3766 Port Score on 20. March, 2014.

First to 4664 Port Score on 2. March, 2015.

^To me it seems like a strange decision to make a slayer monster only available at such high DG level. It would make more sense to put it somewhere else in the world as well, but make that place a disadvantage in comparison to the dungeon.

After working on my dungeoneering harmony pillar, I'm at 50,000xp to go for the final growth phase. Looks like xp gained doesn't spill over into the next growth phase

Also for anyone hunting herblore pages they appear on the floor with a red minimap icon
