That way I don't have to press "cancel" and then attempt to buy the item again with the added amount of money every time I wanna add more money to the price of the item I'm buying. Although I expect that there would be problems since it would be updating too fast for the G.E. to complete sales correctly (which is why the current "your offer may already be completed" message shows up). Well usually when you try buying something for much higher than the Grand Exchange value you get plenty of leftovers, it happens to me all the time, so I don't see how that would damage anything.
