Classic Party Hats?

L S D Outlaw

Recommended Posts

I had a white party hat on Gang Sabre, worth about 400k at the time.

Just wondering if anyone else remembers owning one :)

Is there anyway to put this Phat on a RS3 character?

Currently, I don't believe you can transfer classic items to rs3 or vice versa. I do remember owning a white one myself, and currently still do. :)

More old-school than you know...

Nope, you can't transfer, sorry :P. It must be pretty cool to have one there though :XD:.

Too bad there is nobody to show off to apart from bots...

As for me, I kept all my stuff on rs2 when it was released.

Worth noting unless you actively opted at the time of rs2 launch to keep ur account on rsc it automagically moved to rs2

It would seem that it's on your RS2 account which is present day RS3. Now all you need to do is remember your login info :P. Also, it's 2 billion. <_<

You can try resetting it without a valid email address; failing that, contact them directly from the link at the bottom of that page. Or tweet them.

Yea, I just put in a request for my old account and they called me a liar and  a hacker....

Based on what ? I dont have my old email account ?

Oh well, im not holding a grudge, just disapointed is all.

I really don't think Jagex would use that kind of language. They might say something along the lines of not having enough information to recover it, but I really doubt they would not be that unprofessional :/.

Thank you for contacting Jagex Customer Support.

Using the information you have provided (thank you!), I have been able to cross reference this with the evidence on our systems. After getting a second opinion from a fellow mod to make sure I haven’t left any stone unturned, we can see that someone else is the creator of the account.

We always look to return accounts to their rightful owners, and whilst I can see you have been on the account in the past, it’s clear you didn’t create it. We state in our ‘Rules of RuneScape’ that “players should not accept an account that anybody else offers as they may be stolen” to try and prevent issues like this. We hate to see players like yourself disappointed, which is why these rules are in place to protect you from investing time and sometimes money into an account you will likely lose later down the line to the original creator.

We are here to help and if you have any questions about accounts you did create, you can contact us any time.

This shouldn’t be the end of your adventures, as we know the likelihood is that this account was given to you in good faith by a friend, so we really hope you continue to play on any existing accounts you own, or you create a new account to begin a brand new adventure.

I wouldn't say that's calling you a liar or a hacker.

Its just a statement of fact that the data on record suggests that the account was created by a different source than the one you have evidence for.

There can be several causes of such things happening. Sure hacking may be one cause, but so could account sharing, account buying, a friend giving you an old account or even something as simple as a move of address during the lifetime of the account (especially if its an international move).

I mean if someone were to look at the data for my account it could quite easily appear that I, the current user, created it but over a period between 2009 and 2012 there was someone (or possibly multiple someones) using it that was not me. Why? Because I moved like 120 miles for university and so had 3 different addresses that would have dramatically differing ips and play schedules compared to my home time.

Heck sometimes a change of email address and moving to a new internet provider could be enough to make that data look like a change of user.

It may be a pita not being able to get the account back if such a boring normal occurrence is to blame in making the usage data look funny, but ultimately I'd rather have a few incorrect denials of return to ensure the integrity of the system as a whole than the system be too lax and allow genuine hackers, rwts etc to recover 'lost' accounts.

Have you moved subsequently from when you initially made the account? Or just don't remember enough of the info? They may be attempting to match IP addresses and coming to the conclusion that it was someone else. But I don't know man, maybe making a new account or using your newer one if you already have one instead could be for the best anyway :P.

I would assume you need to buy membership for the regular game, if that's the requirement...or maybe that account doesn't qualify for RSC access? You're sure it's the right one?

Yeah, this page has information and links to store locators so you can find a store close to you that sells pre-paid cards.
