No protect items zone in wildy

Im sure that Jagex writers could think of many other rules in areas of the wilderness.

Mage only?

Staking? More commenly known as pulling the difference in coins.

Boxing? No weapons.

I have very limited creativity, but that would be very cool if they would consider this as a part of the wilderness.

Would you mind providing a little more detail? I don't quite get what you're driving at. Are you suggestion a zone with no protect items in the wilderness or?

Oh yea, high risk, say pk anywhere ?

Or is there a world that has that already ?

:/

Prayer Beasts are really getting on my nerves. Thats what spawned this topic.

There are both High Risk PvP worlds and High Risk Wildy-Pk Worlds.

In RS3 there is World 137 Wildy Pk

In OSRS there is 37 (pvp world) and 65 (Wildy Pk)

Moved as requested. :)

And hmm, that would be better, although I have a feeling with no risk they would all move to cheaper weapons! :P

This idea should be disabling the no riskedness of the wildy. And with higher risk Rune 2h's, the 10-40 def pures would come back, and full runes would be fighting them again. Protect items is frowned upon especially in the f2p wilderness. I mean why build a pure if full runers wont waste their time without a risk involved?

I'm not sure if you can even sell to Oziach or whatever NPC there, but remember that the price they buy items is always much lower than the price they sell, typically something below low alch price. So unfortunately those get rich quick plans will have to go on hold :P.

I think if you wanted to make them worth more, one would have to find another method of creating demand rather than just increasing the floor created by the alch price. Like maybe a spring cleaner PK edition?

Also the value of the rune 2h, battle ax, and kite shield should be a little more expensive making Pking profitable on f2p.

No they shouldn't.

F2P is demo, nothing more. So something being best there doesn't mean anything.

In most skills nothing is unlocked after level 50.

If someone can't afford to pay 10 dollars a month, they have no one to blame but themselves.

I'm just saying pray beasts and 1 itemers rely on protect items. And thus no1 can pk them as they are all identified as "no risk". If they dropped their Rune 2 Handers things would be just fine.

That I completely agree with.

If someone enters the wilderness and doesn't bother switching worlds, they deserve to lose their items as they aren't careful enough.

As for me, when doing treasure trails in the wildy, I always switch worlds when someone is coming.

^Firstly, in all skills there are things unlocked after 50. Also you don't know why someone cannot afford to pay 10 dollars a month, therefore you cannot say who is to blame (of course you cannot blame the game for that).

Even the jobs that don't pay that well pays at least 10. So yeah, it's totally their fault as they're terrible with money.

It's not entirely about whether people can get the money though. One shouldn't underestimate the fact that a number of people (for various reasons) have more free time than money available to them. And other people like myself enjoy playing F2P and don't want to be bombarded with a million reminders to subscribe, or perhaps even pay for membership and want to PK on F2P to find a bigger crowd of people.

Well, alright. If you enjoy playing F2P, good for you. I would never find it fun, but if you do, there's nothing wrong with that.

But keep in mind that it's still a demo though. F2P is the demo version of RuneScape, while members is the full version.

Granted, it's a bit bigger than most demos but it's a demo nevertheless.

The funny thing is they said a while ago (and have probably changed their minds subsequently) that F2P is its own game, not a demo. And then they advertise it as the largest free-to-play MMO on one hand and as a demo on the other...

It doesn't matter what they call it.

A fraction of a game is by definition a demo. And that's exactly what F2P is.

What are you talking about ??

I didnt say give f2p a bunch of quests, god swords and guilds!

Maybe you didnt read the antire thread before you posted ?

First of all, all of this you stated are things I suggested in 2005, or a decade ago. I'm sorry but it's stupid to dismiss my post because of something I suggested a long time ago.

Secondly, I did read your post, I even replied to it above. And you are accusing me of not reading? The awful suggestions I made 10 years ago have zero relevance to how my mindset is today. Yes, I was a moron back then, but I have changed a lot. The reason I replied to these old threads was only so I can learn from these mistakes. If you actually read my posts instead of dismissing them because of something I made 10 years ago, you would understand what I'm talking about.

Are you saying that you posted this thread ? That reading one post instead of the entire thread is what I have requested ? O yea, back to square one, I posted this thread not you. :)

You are totally taking what I said out of context.

I did read the first post in this thread, not at one point did I say I'm the one who started the thread I'm posting in right now. I said that I replied to the first post in this thread.

And of course I read the first post of the thread and replied to it, the first post in a thread is the most important one after all.

And again, you are dismissing my posts simply because of what I suggested 10 years ago. Get over it. Look it makes sense to dismiss my posts if these awful suggestions are recent, but they aren't even close.

Look, if you have a problem with the posts I made in your thread, then by all means point them out. But so far you haven't, all you have done is ignore them because of suggestions I made 10 years ago. I'm nowhere near the same person I was back then, hell I don't even remember why I made these stupid suggestions in the first place, that shows how much I have changed.
