Mr_Putter
I was thinking about going to a David Gilmour concert. No money though. I had the change to pay only 150 bucks for seats at the back. Oh joy...Plus I would have needed to find a way to get to Toronto.

Talking about concerts... about 1-2 years ago Waters played here and I couldn't go! now I dont know when Gilmour or Waters will play again... How2PK
Pff, what's interesting about a Floyd concert nowadays. We've missed the entire thing anyway, we'd just see a bunch of old people preforming music with a light show, like they used to do, but it isn't what it used to be anymore. I'd rather spend my money on another concert. It's sad though. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore! I saw lots of live Shows in DVD, I would like to see one, just one and I'd be happy. But yeah, depending on how much it would be, I'd rather spent in someting else... ~komodo

6cheesepie9
Pink Floyd is an awesome band. I currently own Wish you Were Here, The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Echoes (Best of), Umma Gumma, P-U-L-S-E, Atom Heart Mother, A Momentary Lapse of Reason and the Division Bell. I'll say favourite songs from each of those: Wish you Were Here and Have a Cigar - Wish you Were Here Comfortably Numb and Another Brick in the Wall Part 1 - The Wall Breathe and Money - Dark Side of the Moon Dogs and Pigs(3 different ones) - Animals Keep Talking (from the Division Bell) - Echoes Astronomy Domine and Careful with that Axe, Eugene - Umma Gumma Sorrow and Time - P-U-L-S-E Fat Old Sun and If - Atom Heart Mother Learning To Fly and Terminal Frost - A Momentary Lapse of Reason Marooned and What do you Want From me - The Division Bell All great songs that I suggest listening to if you haven't already. Oh, and another suggestion, the Wish you Were Here Album, Dark Side of the Moon, and Animals album are all amazing to listen to in sequence. Try it. MOD EDIT: Offensive text removed. Mr_Putter
Oh, and another suggestion, the Wish you Were Here Album, Dark Side of the Moon, and Animals album are all amazing to listen to in sequence. Try it.If I'm ever listening to an album, I refuse to even start it if I don't have enough time to get through the whole album with no interuptions. It drives me insane to get interupted in the middle of an experience that great. I also turn it up to as loud as it goes, both to drown out all outside noise, and so I can hear every single little detail, every drum beat, and every single note. If anyones listening to Pink Floyd on an iPod, they're seriously missing something (unless you're listening to it at home). I can't even imagine listening to Floyd on an mp3 player while walking around a noisy town. I'd probably go insane.

I can't even imagine listening to Floyd on an mp3 player while walking around a noisy town. I'd probably go insane. Very true. It's impossible, even because Floyd's songs have those moments when you have to pay much attention to listen to what's being played (like on the beggining of Wish you were here and on Shine on you crazy diamond). ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me

How2PK
I think we're giving Floyd a bit too much credit if we say you can't listen to it on an MP3 player because the music is too complicating. Pete_the_Viscous
I wouldn't listen to Pink Floyd on bad earphones, but then, I wouldn't listen to any music on bad earphones. I say bad: really bad, such as those that come free with stuff -- not the same bad that some speaker elitist might mean. If anything, something link this (Pink Floyd music) should be more acceptable with poor sound quality -- it being more than just constant screaming and incredibly fast drumming, which sounds terrible on most earphones (not just because it sounds terrible in any speakers at all, either). I've got reasonable earphones (I think, anyway: Shure E2c), but they're not as good sound quality as my speakers at home. Still, I sometimes hear new things in the music because of the change in quality. deviantart account
