Dax's top five Porcupine Tree tracks:

5. Halo.

4. Piano Lessons.

3. Lightbulb Sun.

2. Not Beautiful Anymore.

1. Last Chance to Evacuate Planet Earth Before It Is Recycled

I have no major problems with your list at all, though, so, nice. Porcupine Tree is such an album band it's pretty hard to pick out the best five. Realistically I just want to say 'Bugger it, top five is all 10 tracks of Lightbulb Sun, go listen to it.' I'd put it as an album in my top ten of all time. Also I think I prefer Steven Wilson's solo stuff, but that's a top five for another day.

I actually dig it! I'm guessing it's your own music by the low view count?

I live in Exmilitary and The Money Store with Death Grips. I first got into them just after The Money Store, and I've kept up with them since, but nothing's hit me like those first two. On GP is my all-time favourite, which is an exception, otherwise, a quick top ten or so:

On GP>Spread Eagle Cross the Block>I've Seen Footage>Get Got>Beware>I Want It I Need It (Death Heated>Culture Shock>[bleep] Please>Hacker. I got kinda sick of Guillotine, but it's pretty great too.

And something so I actually have a vid.

I think The Money Store is easily their best release. I think their later releases (especially The Powers That B) suffer from the same problem a lot of experimental bands face, where they just keep trying to experiment harder instead of applying lessons from their previous experiments

Once upon a time the LOTPW crew found another forum with a forum games section that had its own LOTPW thread. But, it was entirely populated by ~6 chat bots, who had the sorts of neural net posts you might expect, but with "real" conversations, not half-baked advertisements over and over. 10s of thousands of pages of it, stretching back years. It was kind of incredible, in an unnerving way.

I guess what I'm saying is that if this forum is doomed to be populated by bots, the humans having all fled, well. I hope they're the cool kind of bots.

A vocaloid artist I really like just announced a new EP, and I'm pretty excited for it.

Here's hoping they have some sort of non-Japan-only distribution, and it doesn't end up being ~$20 and only a physical release.
