there is one simple way u can avoid this. always be nice :D

I try to be nice. I showed my friend castlewars, he never played rs before. I wasd trying to get hom to play and then he is likw typing in a bunch of stuff. Quickly I switch to chat to firends which i had none of and I didn't see any p mods around. I also kept pressing enter so he couldn't type in fuill things. I probablyshouldn't of so they didn't think I was tyring to get around system.Next day"you have a black mark for site advertising[?]and offensive language" I had chat to firends with no friends or mods around! so even if u r nice, things can go wrong

It is my understanding putting your chat to friends will only show your friends chat to you, but you are able to talk to everyone else. You shouldn't have let someone else on your account at all.

Well, for some strange reason, I got a Black Mark for drop trading, but this was with the old system, where you would get a ban for 4 black marks, not 10. Then when they made the 10 Black Mark system, it was gone. :?

There is a picture on there with someone with a black mark. it says 4.0 / 10.0

I dont have any, but I'm sure I was given a black mark.. however my flag is yellow. They have an orange flag for a serious rule break and i'm guessing only a serious one would result in an actual black mark.. i think the yellow flag is just a slap on the wrist.

they do go away, i remeber quite clearly getting one for advertising a while back (telling someone to go to tipit for help with there clue while someone was spamming "go to -bad website-not posting- for autotalkers, autotrainers, autominers, autocutter, tut island script". guess who got two black marks? and when i checked...congratulations! there are no offences on this account" O:)

(all the smileys just stopped moving :-s )

I am in the exact same boat as you, over 4 years ago i got 3 black marks for scamming i think. I mean come on, i know i deserved them but i have not done it in over 4 years is that not proof enough i have learnt my lesson and we all grow up over time. I have sent in several queries to jagex about this but they have continued to send me an auto response.

I just want to get rid of them because i dont want to get banned because jagex find my clan site or msn against the rules.
