pjb21 Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 hey, im pjb21 and this is my pixels works, dating from the time of this post i guess. im currently 16, and doing my final exams, but that will be over on the 26th of june, leaving me with a long summer holidays. plans for the future is basicly getting a job in graphics design, and working my way towards that. media art and english are all strong points for me, and so im sure ill find something i enjoy. but yeah, enough about my life. ive been pixeling about dunno, 2 years now, on and off. this forum is what started it. currently havent been doing that much, pixeling anyways, i prefer some of the smoother digital art forms, and after all pixel art isnt really needed anymore, its dieing, shame, but it is. so im doing photography, vector, 'cartoon', 3d modeling, havnt got any decent digi paint software, shame cos i got a graphics tablet. im probably doing other stuff ive just forgoten. i have deviantart, feel free to visit me there, simply click here newest at the bottom oldest at the top MINI TIME! lol. 100% zoom at top, 300% under for a closer look. feel free to comment on it and say what you think, but no flaming, i really cant be bothered to break open the fire extunguishers between the mods. yer well thats about it. oh something else, i was thinking whats the smallest size font you can make, and i got to 3*4 pixel with it still being able to define what the letters are with out to much problem, i doubt anyone can get smaller with the letters still being easy to read. here it is: new avvy, this one for rybek or 'the mage doo' (cba to do 3x zoom, maybe later, now is later =D) and then the linework for anyone interested in doing there own shading and colouring... (big number 10!) different =) indeed, o0 and with text (old classic style) (cliche ^^) i know its fairly basic but its what was wanted. o0 its animated! yeah and? linework for you =) (rocker snownan and jack frost o0) (dont ask :XD: ) (love this one will probably shade it some time) (update 21 - first real sign of texturing. signs of things to come?) the true meaning of christmas first (attack): second (defend): and them togther (please god let it work :pray: ) faster as per requested you may use the linework if credit is given (including re-dress) messing with AA colour conservation - 3 colours again 3 colours then some basic stuffs for gummy, yes, basic... for toxic, again, basic as stated my 3 fav barrows bros in 3 tone, copy into paint and 8x zoom for best =) 3 tone avvy again, meler and his cat (8x for best viewing) dithering, aa, i know the linewor isnt great, twas originaly random line, heh. my piece for the TIF towers and, of corse, a sig i made recently for somebody on another forum, rather like this one =) toast V1: V2: animation: =B: crazy: confused/o0: XD: nerd: =S: 8S: toaster v2: wink lick/ =d: determined/plotting: shocked: thumbs up: thumbs down: ok thats it in this thread for now... I hope not. ~ Nami goes very red, eeeek. thanks, wow, im sure theres something wrong, oh i know, the ear on that last guy is too small! ah the second one, that was the first one of them i did, it was an illustration for what i ment when explaining how i thought someone could improve a wip, basicly it is the back of the left hand shoulder and some of the head of a mage in ahrims casting a spell into the darkk =) any more comments guys? cc? anything? pjb21 Posted August 16, 2006 Author Share Posted August 16, 2006 enlarge it, to 100*100 :? cant do, sorry, that would either look really dodgy or i would have to redo it all sorry. you want 'rybek' on it? i added the text 'the made doo' liek tou requested, you probably cant see it tho o0 if you want i can try and make it clearer. oh and people, i have some cool linework made up, one sec, just gonna host it... here it is =) now, i could colour it myself, or i may do this in a sec, start a comp to see who can colour and shade that in the best, most original way. the winner of that i will make either an avvy or upto a 150*100 sig for, depending on how much i like it =) comments on the linework and idea welcome.
