terley
Finished! Yes it's finally finished, our deadline was new years and we did it! The people who made this possible =D> Terley Misterxman Sinakill PJB21 Zeekyhbomb Megadedhed Lazy_cat Gorudriders SmellySocks lordliquid reddawn509 Godslayer Blink-182 Lovelydude Kuroi_Ame Fortress2000 eckered Random beesafree hiimben rune2thescape thethinginthecorner Metroid headshot007111 My_Eggs Sinakill Blank Grid Past attempts at this have been quite sucessful so Im being quite optimistic about what we can achieve. Examples:[*:38ivjt9h]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v141/robalan/isocollabIInewversion.png [*:38ivjt9h]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v141/robalan/CollabUpdate27.gif the rules.. :| [*:38ivjt9h]Before working clearly announce which numbers you wish to work in, don't be too greedy, pick at most 4 connecting sections. This is so no two people accidently work on the same part. [*:38ivjt9h]Don't rush, try maintain the quality of the grid and if it helps look to others for advice or simply look at previous peoples work to see where you may improve. [*:38ivjt9h]This is a collaboration so please work as a team where needed, remember people will be working side by side so make sure your section works well with those around it. [*:38ivjt9h]Try use the same colours as others, there's no point in sudden colour changes, and if it helps, palette your colours clear of the grid so others know what to use. [*:38ivjt9h]You are free to pixel outside your section if it need be, http://img436.imageshack.us/img436/3475/example1zy7.png especially these highlighted sections, its alright to pixel out over the background. [*:38ivjt9h]It's isometric so please keep it isometric, if you aren't sure please look up tutorials as they do help alot.. Here are two:[*:38ivjt9h]The Complete Guide to Isometric Pixel Art [*:38ivjt9h]Pixelfreak (If this is counted as advertising I'll remove) EDIT: Nope, they are fine. I tagged up all links so they are clickable. -Ard[*:38ivjt9h]You are free to make whatever you want, there is no theme or restrictions but please don't waste spaces with 2 minute wonders , or it may be just wiped off the grid. :shame: [*:38ivjt9h]Save you're edits as PNG's to keep the quality, and so we don't use loads of bandwith try post the link to your edit if you can .. I just don't think it'd be a great Idea to have a dozen 15k images on each page of this thread, some people's computers are slower plus I don't know how it'll effect the forum :ohnoes: .. [*:38ivjt9h]Try not to work into other peoples sections unless you need to, stealing a few pixels of space isn't a crime but do be considerate... [*:38ivjt9h]Have fun. and remember not to rush, pixelopolis' collaboration has been ongoing since april, so we're not working within a deadline.----------------------------------------- EDIT a progress animation if anyone's interested! guessin it may be reeally slow for some. JacobRyan
Hey Ter, I don't have time this week but I'm sure this will be going on for a little bit, so give me 1,2,3, and 4. If I still don't have time I'll let you know so you can put them back out there for someone else to grab, but I'm sure I will have time.

misterxman
Using the idea is fine and Terley made the grid. There is no rulebreaking in this game so let's just have some fun. :) misterxman - 10, 24, 25, 38 Terley, you should add a list in the first post with names and assigned numbers so people don't have to check every reply. :) EDIT: Changed my numbers after noticing JR's picks :wall: Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art
