And i know you guys are going to say there are 5million pages on this and stff, well they get deleted. And everyone knows the searc button does not work... Sorry about cropping :(, very old pictures.. 1999 i was like... 6 years old.. .. Nov 29 1999: April 7 2000: Jan 12 2001: Jan 20 2002: Must have more recent ones but can't find.. i buy new comuters every 4 months or so, and i save everything from each computer on my flashdrive, it has 2GB hard drive and i have a few of them so i can transfer.. They cost around $450.00, not much.. so i got a few. Currently Working on: Basically Quit... I have 3 main reasons for doing this: 1) This saves a lot of server resources and allows me to increase the capacity of the main RuneScape game itself, which is after all the most important part of the website. 2) Moderating the message boards has become a *huge* amount of work lately. I am fed up with all the scamming, swearing, and abuse which goes on here, so they are gone. This will save me a lot of time and stress! I have found that lately I am spending more time managing the website than actually programming new features into the game which isn't much fun and is why I felt things had to change. 3) Better security - There is now only ONE place where you need to enter your RuneScape Password. You should now only enter your password into the game itself and nowhere else! NOTHING else I have written will ask for your RuneScape password EVER! The game login uses better security than the other web-based features, so this means your password will be even safer than before. I have also reprogrammed the chat filter in the game itself, to use a more effective system. This is another feature which has been heavily abused, and I'm not willing to put up with it any longer. The new system only allows a limited vocabulary to be used. The new RuneScape chat is only intended for role-playing within the game, not for talking about real life! I have programmed a new server core, which should in the long run be more reliable and allow more people to play RuneScape at once. You may see a few glitches. November 14, 2001. Not bunny ears. That layout didn't last that long, if I remember. I remember playing with like 15 non-member worlds, and like 7 member worlds. I <3 Gears of War 2. When 200,000 people interact online, it can only be a matter of time before someone pops the question... We heard from PugXSi, a veteran of Runescape who is currently 4th overall with 1473 total stats. At 99 in magic and 96 in firemaking, there was still one stat that seemed to be eluding him: romance. Then Runescape "gave me something I didn't think possible- eternal happiness with a fantastic woman." The woman in question was Jenstarr, a regular of the Dwarven mines. PugXSi soon noticed that she was a bit handy with a pick. "She worked extremely hard to become a rune miner...I hadn't seen such devotion to a skill before." Sensing that they had struck gold, the two miners would chat online for hours. "It didn't take me long to develop real feelings for her", and an in-game marriage duly followed. Some time later, PugXSi flew from England to the U.S. to meet Jenstarr in person. A second trip took place at Christmas, but it was more than just santa hats that were up for grabs. On January 3rd PugXSi and Jenstarr got married at a local courthouse. "Runescape is the sole factor in bringing Jen and I together, and for that, Jagex will always have our gratitude." Don't thank us, PugXSi, thank the magic of the runes. Runescape romance turns real Yet more wedding bells! So Runescape rings DO have special properties. "I started playing 8 months ago...The last thing I was looking for was another relationship, especially via an internet game. But find one I did, or it found me..." But after that we joked about it and kept talking, until we fell in love through Runescape and got to know each other better." Lady Pooh, who hails from Ohio in the USA, is now set to become Mrs.Topcat0711. She even flew over to his native Australia, swapping server-lag for jet-lag to be with her new love. "I've been here in Australia for 6 weeks now and we get along great! We are making long term plans and its all thanks to you! We just wanted you to know that you created more than just a game...it's a connection to life and happiness." So it's official then: Cupid does exist. As an NPC in Runescape. Jagex probably won't post similar announcements again, lol. With so many players, Jagex would be accused of favoritism if they posted these now. You must be really lonely if you fly to a very distant location on earth to meet a "girl" that you've developed feelings for in-game. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Oh yeah i remember that, it didnt last very long.
