please help just started runecrafting and have a quick ques.

my rc is 17 and i can craft fires since 14. i looked at the rc guide and it looks like the fire altar is closer than the air 1. should i go there for exp? is there a better place? keep in mind im f2p.

I think you should go to the fire altar if its closer AND gives you more xp

im only guessing if its shorter. personally i have no clue.

Well, the fire and air alter are more or less equidistant... air alter having the advantage of more runes per ess, but that might not be that big of an influence on your choice at lvl 17.

I've never been much of a Runecrafter, but I still say the Fire Altar would be better for you.

Having tried both methods, I prefer the air altar as airs are far easier to sell than fires plus the fact that you get more airs per ess than fires. What I like to do though is rc both minds and airs and get my fire staff, and do fire strike to level my magic too.

I just want to clear this up for people. Even know you get more runes per ess you get the same exp. Exp is dertimened by ess.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want money go with airs. IF you want exp go with fires.

Hey, im an o.k. runecrafter and my personal opinion is that your should get your lv up enough so that you can make earth runes! they give good exp. and they sell for an ok price! Also theres a bank really close for easy access! and i almost for got that if you go and make a tiara you can wear that and mine ess from albony and go stright to the temple to make the runes!
