Ahhh, good ol' noob memories

Yes. We were all level 3s once. RuneScape has spoilt a lot of players into selfish and annoying people.

But forget that. Remember when you jsut joined RuneScape. You were like 'What the heck? Where am I!"

Today...

"Hey I'll buy those addy ores for 1k ea? Kk meet at edgy, use sceptre to telly"

If you could have seen your present self when you just joined RS, what would you say

But enough of that. Remember when some kind player gave you 500gp? Well, that happened to me. I went crazy. Back then I viewed 500gp as I would view 500M today. Then I found out we could take a boat ride to Karamja. OMG wow that was a cool island! I still remmeber that, and to this day Karamja has been one of my favorite spots in RS.

What about YOU? :?:

Well, apart from getting killed by a cow, what I really loved was walking around and discovering new things for myself. Entering buildings in and around Varrock, climbing ladders to see what's upstairs. Examining different objects just to see what I'd 'observe'. I remember this sweet innocence of simply not knowing what I was doing, where I was going, or what the heck I was even wielding (a wooden shield...!?).

I remember that I, just when I came to Varrock for the first time in my life, found a black cape on the ground. I wore it and I thought it was so cool :D. Ah...Those happy times :D

ye, the first place i came to in RSC was also Varrock. I kept examining things then i examined "sword shop". so off i went in and to my dismay i cant afford anything...

I got my full iron free from a nice buddy~ i was still in iron full at around lvl 40 plus, Then i skipped straight to addy armor w/o ever wearing any full mith at all(not even now) \:D/

Then i went to runite later~~

I remember hanging arounf Lumbridge and the level 2 Goblins.

Whenever I walked too far away from Lumbridge I'd walk back just incase I'd get lost. It took me a while to walk up the path to Varrock. Once I got there I think I bought a sword and went back to the Goblins and trained there.

I trained there for a long, getting all their money that they dropped.

With the money I bought a steel longsword, then a black one, a mith and finally an Addy longsword

I didn't get the game at first and kept dying. It took me a while to work out that if I used the World Map as I walked around I could see where I was going.

Aiming for all Levels to be at 70 or higher by December.

This guy game me a steel kiteshield, but I couldn't use it. So he said "Come train your defence." I followed him... to the Zamorak monks.....

He casually mentions that the wine is worth tons of money. Of course I grab it.

DEATH!

And I was carrying like, 700 GP and my iron longsword... :(

But then I found 350K outside the Wizard's Tower and thought I was the richest player ever. Months later, I found 450K+ in cash and items from a drop trader. Then I found 200K worth of yews.

I remember long ago, got a mithril kite, scimmy and med (long ago so I don't really remember the items) from a nice friend who I didn't know back then, I got so happy over them, it was like the best haha. Now I could easily give away Mithril stuff myself but back then I couldn't in any way believe how anyone could give those things away..

Lol, I gave away a rune axe to some random person the other day. When I first started playing 3 gp was like a "ZOMG! moment". I also remember when me and my freind couldn't find each other, I was on the top lumby bridge and he was at the bottom one. :-w

In my first week of playing, someone gave me 750 gp. I still remeber his name now, and he stayed on my friends list. He PM'ed me a coupla of months ago, saying that he hadn't played ina few months, and meanwhile his account had been hacked - could I lend him some money? Well, obviously it was great to be able to return the favour, and even though I was some 50 combat levels above him, somehow I still view him as my superior!

My first day, my friend gave me an iron set and basically said "have a nice day" and went wildy- I followed him, stupidly, and was pwned by the 20 wizards in level three.

I trained from level three to sixteen with my faithful bronze wc axe i picked up at the chicken yard. The chickens were my main source of income; between trips of mining and smithing south of varrock, I killed chickens to upgrade my pickaxe. I eventually got the 32k necessary to get a rune pickaxe, and took to mining coal in wild, where I learned to despise miner killers.

I remember when one of my friends got a rune scimmy and gave me his mith scimmy. I thought he was god or something.

I also remember when someone said "Selling rune 2h 13k!" in Al Kharid but he ended scamming me and selling me an iron one.

I came across RuneScape from "baby"sitting my neighbors. It was a Sunday, i remember, because my first day of school that year was the next day. Well, when I went over to babysit, my neighbor (the oldest, who is about 2 years? younger than me) was playing a game. I got interested. So we set up an account for me, and I started playing.

I remember walking around Lumbridge a little. Then, I walked to Draynor not knowing where I was. I was killed by a guard(?) by the dungeons in Draynor.

World maps probably helped me the most. I'm very good with maps. It'd be nice if they had an IN-GAME map like their World Map on the site. I've seen a suggestion about that recently on these forums.

Later in the game, someone scammed me, I believe. I don't remember exactly what I was scammed for, but I remember it was in Al Kharid. Most of us have gotten scammed early in the game.

I made a friend on RuneScape. He was awesome. He's never on anymore, though. :( ... So, out of appreciation, I made the account I play on today: Waffle326. You'll probably call me pyscotic or something around that. His account was Waffle235. Look familiar? It's one number off mine!

He was a good friend. Not only was he nice, but he gave me good armor: some addy, mitril, and steel. I looked like I got dressed in the dark from the mismatching, but I was pretty well protected. It upsets me though:

One day, I decided to go in LEVEL ONE (emphasis one ONE) and try to kill someone. I started to fight someone earning myself a skull and crossbones. Apparently this person was range or mage because when I ran away because of low HP, they got one last hit. I died and lost a lot. I wasn't very smart that day because I never put most of the stuff from my inventory in my bank. I lost all that armor he gave me and a lot of other valuable things (well things that were valuable for ME).

Today, I don't fight a lot. I train non-combat skills. Normally it's cooking and maybe a bit of fishing, but recently I've been working on runecrafting. Did you know it was easy to level up to 20 in runecrafting? Amazingly it is! lol.

Well, that was my tidbit of information you didn't need or probably want to know, but I felt I should share my past (in RuneScape)!

"mmm... i like waffles"... i get that alot. so i say..."I do, too!!!"

(lol that was really silly). that bronze armor was 4 me lyk a rune g now. I also remember when i made my first 2k, i thought i was rich lol

Why even try with that idiot? Honestly, there is no point whatsoever. I'd get better replies if I argued with a tree stump.

Ah, my early days.

I remember when I had full steel, and I looked like a real knight, I still treasure my steel 2h from those days.

I remember that I thought"rune weapons....someday I will wield it."

I have reached that goal, now I am going for members and dragon 2H!

Sir, the Panzerschreck squad is blocking the road!
