speedofsound
I created my account. His name is Drraco the warrior! Ha, I dont know sbout Proudmoore though...it's kind of laggy. By the way, add me or tell me to get on when you create yours. OK, I've made my account, his name is Vatch and he's a mage. I'm not sure how often I'll play him though because I have other characters (on different servers) I'm supposed to be playing for my friends who also play. Also, is there anyone else I should add? Like Sith, have you decided on your character, are you going to use the shaman? Tell me his name if so. p.s He's a Troll. Were doing Horde right? You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." biox
tailoring & enchanting... looks like i'm farming lifes at the bog lords... on my realm. primal earth are 2-3g each. primal lifes are 20-30g each.Lol, which means any herbalist farming Skettis makes about 200-300g per hour. They're only worth 10g or less on my server =/ How about Primal Mana's? Farming those in Netherstorm is IMHO the easiest kind after Primal Life from Skettis. You can do Water in Skettis as well ofc, but the swimming takes longer. Better respawns in Netherstorm. I found either the small lake outside of Shattrath or the big one north of the Horde camp in Nagrand best for water.

Uldric
Saved up enough gold for my epic mount and I gotta say, it's sweet. Burning around picking up herbs and mines at speed kicks arse. Guess I'll grind netherwing rep seeing as how I have no use for gold anymore. Cleared TK except for Kael'thes, gonna try him tonight. Still have Fathom Lord Karathess in SSC before we can attempt Vashj. Think we are gonna be stuck trying Kael'thes and Vashj for while. Heard both were very hard. poke563
btw do you think it would be hard to get a bear, boar or raptor as a pet? I guess i need a sig......(kitty!).
speedofsound
In a nutshell: Bears are tanks Cats have great DPS Boars use lots of charge attacks to intercept the enemy. I THINK raptors are equivalent to cats but it could be bears. edit: Yes you can have a mount and a pet with you at the same time, just not out at the same time. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. RebelAssassin
raptors are more of a DPS pet than a tank, plus Raptors now have Dash attack 8-) www.PETAkillsanimals.com
speedofsound
Aha, thats what I thought. darkmage099
I usually see most endgame hunters with cats while I see lower levels with boars. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
Azvareth
I usually see most endgame hunters with cats while I see lower levels with boars. Cats at higher levels are apparently crap. People just have them because they want to have a wolf/tiger. Scorpions are supposed to be great pets, except most people don't know how to play them well. Also ravagers and windserpents are good. I haven't the faintest. They're just generally a lot weaker than say, a well-played scorpion or ravager. I'm just reiterating what my friend has told me though. He's very much into theorycrafting, and he used to have a hunter (a survival one with over 1000 agility).
biox
Scorpions or Wind Serpents are the best pets at 70, no question. Boars are twink pets, best for lower level battlegrounds.
Darksavior69
I don't know if it's been fixed/changed but the reason scorpions are (were?) so good is because of the poison stacking mechanics. Stuff like bestial wrath and DPS trinkets would increase the damage done by their poison dot; now this poison can stack up to 5 times, if you use your trinkets/cooldowns/etc.. at the very beginning of a fight your poison will be doing a ton of damage. Due to the mechanics of stacking/refreshing debuff, you can keep this super high damage poison going for the whole fight. I've seen BM hunters doing 600+ DPS with just their pets because of it. "The only way to avoid packaging the water would be to deliver it to people's homes and places of business through some sort of amazingly intricate and complex series of reservoirs, pumping stations, pipes . . . hey, wait a second.." Bubsa
The DoT is going to break any CC you have as well, so my advice would be to stay away from a scorpid. For DPS I'd take a ravager over a cat, because of the talents it can learn. Couldn't give an opinion on a WS, but I've heard good things. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. biox
Ah they were nerfed, I hadn't noticed. Wind Serpent then?
Uldric
Wind serpent is ok, does nature damage and at range. It was nerfed before the scorpid was though, so haven't tried one out for a while. Trying a ravager at the moment. Better then a cat imo. Gore just feels superior to claw. Bear's are crap, no dash. Rapotrs are ok, on par with cats and ravagers. Boars are good, just have to level one up from lev 58 which takes forever. They have gore aswell as dash and charge. Do less dps then the ravager etc.
