  1. Infinity isn't a theory, it's a mathmatical concept.
  2. Overall brain size has been increasing , as has height. Baldness is on the rise, and the naturally red/blond haired and blue/green eyed population is on the way out. Any speculation about people supplementing themselves with technology to the point that we evolve around is questionable at best, considering the overall mixing of the gene pool, and that most of the worlds population doesn't live in a country thats even close to that level of sophistication. Same thing goes for a fatter/skinnier future, considering starvation rates. Most likley way the race will kick the bucket? Meteors, they've caused mass extinctions before, they'll do it again.
  3. Um... Energy can be created and destroyed... Quantum Physics explains how. The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle makes it so that matter is being created and destroyed all the time. The Heisenberg uncertainty principle states (In the most layman terms possible.) That one can never know the exact location or velocity of a particle at any given time. Try again. (I'm an atheist BTW.)
  4. How about this; Castable on others, and receiver of the spell will get a window asking for permission.(Like teleother) It's castable only every 30-45 seconds. It's an option in the duel area Cannot cast on others in wildy, and when cast on self only heals 1/2 (Round up.) Level / Name / Runes Req. / Effect 20 / Sooth / 3 Body, 2 Nat / Heals 5 HP 40 / Mend / 6 Body, 4 Nat / Heals 10 HP 60 / Recover / 2 Soul, 6 Nat / Heals 15 HP 80/ Revive / 3 Soul, 8 Nat / Heals 20 HP Edit: Added time limit, and duel arena selectability.
  5. However this theory violates the first amendment the government will not favor one religion over another and this theory goes against atheism. Ramen Brother! No, string theory is still very much alive. (More accurately the M theory, but I digress.) They're just waiting until the Large Hadron Collider comes online.
  6. Myth: Humans use only 10% or 1% of their brain. Though the brain still holds mysteries that are being studied, every part of the brain is known to have a function. A possible origin of this myth is the fact that only about 10% of the neurons in the brain are firing at any given time. However, if all of your neurons began firing at once, you would not become smarter, but instead suffer an epileptic seizure. In fact studies have shown that the brains of more intelligent people are less active than the brains of less intelligent people, when working on the same problems. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_brain#Myths Ripped from wiki, with love. I never said it was a perfect mechanism, those events probably stuck out more during the time of happening, thus, they got recorded; more so than others.
  7. then why do you forget? why does everyone not see a picture and be able to paint it? That talks about USING 100% of your brain, nothing about how well we use that 100%, kinda like how everyone can draw a car, just some do it perfectly and others look like there drawing a cardboard box. Thats acutally a safety mechanism. There have been cases of extreame photographic memory where people have trouble forgeting anything. By the end of their lives they get all muddled, confused, and generally insane. so as that says, we DO use 100% of our brain, just like 10% of each part. So we do use 100%, but not all of the 100%? Congrats! You've beaten Neuro-science.
  8. Thats acctually an urban legend. Abortions aren't the solution, Soylent green is. the fact we use about 15% of our brain aint a legend if you were talking about that... http://www.snopes.com/science/stats/10percnt.htm

I was thinking syphilis, but, that works too.. I didn't think you could eat syphilis. Different people, different strokes I guess. Your kidding right? I got a big ole vat of syphilis right here...
  11. Santhos, your main problem is that you're not following the "disney" rule. Anything associated with Disney is crap. I think you'll find in a majority of circamstances this rule holds true. Just like the "1980's" rule.
  12. Sounds like a baseless rumor to me... Jhonen Vasquez has said the he would never go back to an IZ project even if nick brought it back.(Took up too much of his time.) And FYI Nick didn't cancel it becuase of ratings, they were great, it had an almost cult following, they cancelled it becuase of the parental outcry.(Wahhh, this shows weird and we can't really be expected to be active in our childrens lives, so cancel it.)
  13. Srry to say, but i dont see how its safer and more envionmentally friendly, when the left overs are toic and radiat, and also we have to find a place to store them. Chernobyl showed us how bad it can be actuly. It showed that only a small design flaw can creat something big. And also look at whats left over. If something ever goes wrong we can see what the fate of that area would be. We should stick to more stuff like wind and sun energy. Thats the safest and most envromentaly friendly way, except kinda expensive. Wind power isn't feasible becuase of the fact that very few places in the world have enough wind over a large enough area to power a station constantly, and in the few areas where they are avalible for placement, most residents will reject them because the re-sale value of the near-by land will plummet. Solar faces many of the same problems, and generally doesn't produce that much electricity. Nuclear really is the way to go. Chernoble was a result of lax security and safety standards and extreame budget cuts by a economicly waning nation. Nuclear power plants can be very safe as long as the right protocol levels are observed. The waste product storage isn't really that big of a deal, there are thousands of remote, low-water table areas suitible for storage; Siberia, the Northern Canadian sheild, Northern Alaska, and the Antarctic treaty will run out within the decade, and given current U.N./U.S. relations, I doubt the U.S. will sign up again, opening up the possiblity for a gigantic stoarge area. The drawbacks of a nuclear power plants are definetly limiting though... The average lifespan of a nuclear reactor is only 50 or so years before the complex becomes too radioactive to function.(most are shut-down at 40 just to be safe.) Thermal pollution by the plant can also wreak havoc on a rivers ecosystem. Cancer rates will also rise near the plant too . Within the century Fusion powerplants will be online, solving all of our power needs; unlimited fuel, relitivly little amounts of waste, and in the event of a meltdown the blast/fallout would cover a significantly smaller area.
  14. #70. Super-glue quaters and other change to the sidewalk out front and see how many people bend down to pick it up. If you wait long enough you get to see the employees try to pry it up with a crowbar.
