  1. Pack Yak+Gilded Altar+Ourg Bones = 1.5m Prayer xp/hr
  2. A dyslexic playing RuneScape? Sorry, but he was just asking for it.
  3. Interesting. I met Yogosun a couple of times in Pyramid Plunder W120.
  4. They post that at the end of every Rule. Notice the part saying how Jagex doesn't tolerate "disruptive players". Since when is Ad Blocking disruptive to the game? And obviously, breaking rule 15 isn't as severe as breaking the other 14 rules, now is it? Yes, I can put two and two together, I know what it says; I am simply questioning its validity.
  5. But if Jackpot89 is right, then blocking the ads wouldn't do a single thing. Assuming he's right, ad companies will continue to pay Jagex for hosting their ads (and thus funding f2p servers) without ever realizing that players were blocking them. Me thinks that Jagex had to add this rule to appease ad companies.
  6. Well, I going to have to resort to a cliche, but it's suitable for this question: Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
  7. I find myself listening to Gothic Metal most of the time. Theatre of Tragedy, Theatre des Vampires, Type O Negative, Sirenia, etc.
  8. Well, I run Mozilla Firefox and I constantly use two extensions: Adblock and NoScript. I have probably broken this rule at least once in my RS career, and I have no blackmarks/bans to show for it. Which leads me to think that this rule can't really be enforced.
  9. [hide=Rule 15] [/hide] My question concerns the italicized/bolded part of Rule 15. Can this rule even be enforced? Can Jagex/ad companies detect when players are blocking or hiding their ads? Assuming that Jagex can detect players who block ads, do they carry the same penalties as breaking other rules? Will players get banned for simply blocking an ad, like the rule states?
  10. Bacchus would have been a nice name, but I am content with my name anyways.
  11. HAHA!!! Best one on this thread so far. I remember finding out that I could go around the Al Kharid Gate (10 GP was wayyyyy to pricey back then). Seeing all those people still passing the gate, I thought to myself, "Hah, I know something they don't" : Good times...
  12. Would the creation of J-Mod clan channels to allow players to voice questions/concerns be a good or bad thing? Personally I think it would highly benifit Runescape players if this was implemented. Not only could players get answers to their questions/concerns in real time (unlike Customer Support), but Jagex's image as a whole would improve . To deter rule breakers, there would be severe consequences for spamming (maybe a ban from clan chat altogether?) Logistically, 10 or 15 chatrooms may not acommodate the whole of RuneScape, so maybe a queue system and a time limit could be imposed. Like 5 minutes per day or so.
  13. You know what really grinds my gears? That thread in Forum Games called "Happy Fun Time ACRONYM GAME!". FFS THEY ARE ACROSTICS The thread has been recreated several times, and neither the authors nor anyone who posted noticed this malapropism; says alot about how intelligent people on the RSOF are.
  14. Sold 30k nats a while back for 11m 2m profit :P
  15. The odds of that are .5^28 or .0000000037%, so I highly doubt that happened.
