RuneScape Information

  1. Happy birthday :D

  2. Fishing on Karamja. When you fill up an inventory, run across the island to Stiles and have him note the fish.
  3. What's will all these inflated numbers? 100M rich? Santas at 3M? I remember when Santa hats were 100k, Masks were 100-300k, Party Hats were 1-10M. If you had a party hat, a dragon shield, and a triple digit combat level, you were god.
  4. I haven't seen Elvarg in 5+ years, and I loved that quest at the time. THis one is a no brainer.
  5. A2, B3, C2, D1, E2. Guess it's nice that a couple things I voted for are winning. Kind of surprised that it's for only 5 years though. Guess it'll be fun to bust out the scythe when I see someone bragging with their cape.
  6. I'm going to be taking my girlfriend out for dinner on the weekend just before valentines day. It isn't a drag, or a pain. She doesn't expect anything big. I don't really understand why so many people in this thread are completely opposed to the idea of getting some time alone with their significant other. Seems to me like you shouldn't be in a relationship with a person if going out with them is something you don't look forward to.
  7. What exactly is this fish fight campaign proposing? That fisherman should be allowed to go over quota and not throw the fish back? That would be far more detrimental to the ecosystem than how things currently work.
  8. All of my bank information is online, credit cards, facebook info, there isn't really anything to me that isn't already online. If Obama wants to digitize what is effectively just a social security number? That's fine by me too. Also, slippery slope arguments- slippery slope arguments freaking everywhere.
  9. The last movie I saw... I was watching tv, nothing on, so I watched a movie that looked mildly interesting on IFC. It was a french film called My Best Friend. It was entertaining but definitely cliched.
  10. "recently" was months ago. If I were the one collecting all those IDs/passwords from a public bot? I would definitely have waited at least that long to start emptying the accounts. I mean, as soon as you start cleaning out the accounts your credibility is shot, so you'd have to hold onto all of it until you've gotten the number of accounts you're after. That's just if it were me though.
  11. In the past week, I watched both Gunbuster and Diebuster. There's always a lot of contention about which of the two is better, and here are my thoughts on the matter: Gunbuster is very much an art piece. It conveys some pretty heavy themes in a way that isn't too overt. It is very appreciable. Diebuster doesn't really have themes in the literary sense that Gunbuster does, but what it has is a great soundtrack, fun characters, and a cool art style. It is very enjoyable. One his highbrow and the other is more middlebrow, grading them on the same scale would be apples and oranges.
  12. When I first started RS I was pretty DIY-minded, but as time goes on it just can't compete- especially after the GE came out.
  13. –verb (used with object) 10. to produce as an effect; bring about; accomplish; make happen: The new machines finally effected the transition to computerized accounting last spring. *cough* Affected was right in that context, but effect does have verb uses. /themoreyouknow
  14. You shouldn't spread misinformation. Dragon armor isn't useless, it's some of the best non-degrading armor to own, for those who aren't extremely rich. Proselyte is only useful in prayer on 100% of the time scenarios, not general purpose fighting. Rune is weaker than dragon. Why use rune when you can use dragon? Barrows degrades, a lot of people don't mind that, but there are some that do.
  15. Just finished Kaichou wa Maid-Sama. 7/10. Probably would have been an 8 if it weren't for the not-particularly-intense ending that it had.
