  1. Top 3 spots filled by possibly 3 of the greatest Nintendo franchises ever and each from a different console. Surely there can be no doubt that Nintendo are the greatest ever when it comes to video games.
  2. The last concert I saw was Korn and it was all set up by the same ticket company, but you weren't allowed to bring in cameras then but if you've got a small enough one that fits in your pocket, you could sneak it in if you wanted and take pictures. Anyway, I'm paying $100 to go see them, I think the least they should do is let me take some of my own, personal photos of a concert which is definitely a once in a lifetime thing for me. Edit: Hooray for crappy quality phone camera shots.
  3. Some of you may know about their world tour and how they're touring Australia for the first time in 15 years in February next year. Well, I've got tickets to their first, sold out Melbourne concert! CANT BLOODY WAIT! THEY'RE GONNA ROCK MY FACE OFF!!1 Shall be awesome. Needa invest in a good digital camera before I go away though.
  4. It's basically System of a Down with none of Daron Malakian's [cabbage]ty singing in it. It's still damn good regardless though.
  5. I wouldn't consider Gears an FPS for the simple fact that its not played in a first person view. It's more of a third person perspective with first person elements considering the camera is always behind Marcus and only goes into a first person perspective when aiming. Either way, it was still a brilliant game despite the shortness of it.
  6. Devin Townsend uses a 7 string guitar. Look up either Strapping Young Lad for more metal songs or The Devin Townsend Band or just his name for more mellow songs.
  7. Presenting the Wii's guitar. Edit: Damn, didn't see that image in the OP. Still awesome either way.
  8. And by enjoy he means irritated up the god damn wall. Majora's Mask was and still is my favourite LoZ game to date. Better than OoT and miles ahead of TP. Sadly I haven't played any of the really old ones, but out of the 3D Zelda's, Majora's Mask is easily the best. Instant buy when it's out on the VC.
  9. Given that situation, the cashier should have flat out refused to sell it to her knowing that the little kid was going to be playing it.
  10. Bastards. Manhunt 2 Suspended God damn it. Nintendo and Sony need to realise that one AO game doesn't mean your brand will be stamped with negatives. Let people make the games they want, even if you do brutally murder people. That's another point. I'm legally an adult, why are the ratings boards telling me what I can and can't play. I mean, fair enough, little kiddies shouldn't be playing it, but I'm 18 and in Australia, you're an adult then. Let me make my own damn decisions as to what I want to play.
  11. resistance Because Resistance isn't like all the other FPS games already out right? PS3 has nothing to offer at the moment apart from being a reasonably cheap Blu-Ray player and when you look at the rate exclusives are moving multi-platform and the exclusives the PS3 is left with, it doesn't paint a particularly pretty future for it.
  12. I quite liked SC2 on Cube. Link was by far the best out of the 3 special characters for each console. I'm quite looking forward to Soul Calibur Legends which is coming to Wii. Should be good if they pull off the controls right.
  13. If you look at pretty much all of Nintendo's home consoles, they follow the pattern of innovation then graphics. NES, well, enough said, it brought home consoles to the mass market then the SNES built on that with an improvement in graphics. The N64 was the first home console to my knowlege to use a thumbstick and they released rumble as well, the GC expanded on this by having the rumble built in, a more refined comfortable controller with improved joysticks. Now, the Wii is nothing but pure innovation and if Nintendo continue this pattern, the next Ninty console should have some pretty damn awesome graphics while building on the innovation that is the Wiimote. Also, kudo's to Militaris. That is probably one of the best thought out and well explained posts in this whole thread.
  14. You should have imported them. The site I used for mine cost $60 with postage and handling and I have the game now and not 21st of June. Hooray for imports.
