In Topic: Decent money making methods?

08 July 2011 - 07:27 PM

at your state, u need to make at least 5mil with skills.
Woodcutting is a good one, your gaurrenteed to make a good sum of cash pretty fast, and the whoel reason u skill for 5m is not having to invest in anythign except maybe some dragon tools such as axe and pick.
Mining, woodcutting, fletching, or just pickiing flax is pretty good.

Pretty sure green drags are way better, but...to each his own :S

The point of skilling is being safe and not havign to buy gear or food...
He shoudl at least have a whip before he starts green drags...
and if ur a [kitty] and kinda scared blue drags r nice too

Even with just a D scim, its still a very fast money maker? Worst case scenario, he could buy 1 invo's worth of food at a time, and I'm sure it would still be a lot faster.

Greens with no BoB are around 1 mil an hour if you have a good server with good bots, you only need to hit 385 damage to get the kill, less if there is more than one bot on the dragon. With a BoB this can jump up to around 1.5 mil an hour.

Take a stack of house tabs, 2 sharks, and a dose of super antifire if you're using a setup with no dfs/anti-dragon shield. Drink a dose of super att and super str at edgeville bank and run to the. CT entrance just north of varrock. Run south to that portal and take a dose of your. Super antifire.
Kill dragons.
????
Profit!

One dose of super antifire should last a whole inventory and terrorbird/war tort. Have piety/turmoil on the whole time, recharge prayer in your house and tele to edgeville via mounted glory. Wash rinse repeat

He only has 59 herblore?

Use regular antifires and an anti-dragon shield with a terrorbird. Rune armor should suffice, mebbe get one peice of cheap barrows if you want to be extra safe.

The drop was trash to be honest... thanks for helping me out.

Yeah that happens...but some apparently "trash" drops can be worth quite a bit. For example, I was slaying black demons and I got a 900k pure ess drop.

So at least check the drop pile, and pick it up if its noted/stackable to check the # of items.

They updated the ROW to give better drops more frequently, and added a sort of ROW only drop table that can be accessed from any valid monster (I believe). It shining like that indicates the drop you just recieved came from the ROW, to make its effect more obvious.
