  1. I also think Halloween 2008 was the best, and I've been playing holiday events just after they stop dropping rares. I think the fact that they had transformed the area into a spooky Halloween styled town just made it for me. It really got me in the holiday spirit, even when you had done the event, it still felt like Halloween. It would be so great if we were to get snow at Christmas or something.
  2. Zezima definitely. He may not be top anymore, but he has made his mark.

  4. Nothing. Mainly cause you can't lose what you don't have
  5. I'm no expert, but I doubt 150 would be the sequel to WGS. It is too soon, and Jagex said they were releasing quite a few grandmaster quests, not just two. I don't think the new quest should be a tutorial to a new skill, as the new quest should be challenging, there's no point in releasing a skill only a limited amount of people can partake in. However, I do feel the time is right for a new skill to be released, just not with the quest. BTW, are we really on 149 quests??? I though it was about 145.
  6. You could always try to train for 99 skills... BUt you know its going to be boring and hard work. Whenever I get bored I do things that I dont really do often... Sometimes I go down to the H.A.M camp and pickpocket the H.A.M members. It may sound nooby, and I have no reason to do it, but I remember having loads of fun doing it in when I first became a member. Just explore maybe... Its so nice just to walk around Karamja sometimes, go to places you havent been for a while. I know some high level is going to call me a noob and say I'm not achieving anything, but I dont care. RUnescape doesnt need to be a chore. You could always take a break, come back after a month or two with a heap of new content to do. You could just wait for Mechscape to come out. I know exactly what you mean, I've lost interest so many times but Runescape is just too addictive to quit. Clanchat is also a great way to pass the time.
  7. To be honest... I dont think I have ever made a million in one go. I could never stick to something long enough to make a million, I'm way too procrastinative. Its not that I lack the skills or knowledge to make money.... I just can't be bothered, the only fun ways to make money IMO is treasure trails. Besides, I dont really try to make money, it just kind of... Builds up. I have probably made multi millions over my 4 years of playing, but not all in one go. Whenever I do try to make money, I usually get to about 250k before I just spend it somehow. Actually now I think about it, I have made a mil all in one go once. From a treasure trail reward. Back when trimmed armour was actually worth something. That money lasted me ages. :D Oh and one time I was in tzhaar ages ago and I saw some chaos runes on the floor, so I picked them up. All 7000 of them. But I doubt that counts, I didnt really make that money as such.
  8. Let me give you an example of my day yesterday. I logged in. I was in Ardougne. Looked at my skills and noticed my 59 ranged. So I went to the ogre cages, and ranged ogres for about an hour. Got 60 ranged  . Then afterwards, I walked to Varrock whilst appreciating the new HD graphics. I got there, and bought full red d'hide. Then I had nothing to do. All of a sudden, and observant player spotted my blue gecko. "Where can I get a pet" he said. So I told him about the pet shop in taverly, and took him there. I had nothing else to do really. After I spent about 10 minutes in Falador killing guards with my new red d'hide. And I got a clue scroll. So I started doing it. About half-way through, I was on Karamja. I was getting a bit bored of my now fully grown blue gecko. So I dropped it and caught myself a nice red one. When I finished my clue scroll (rubbish reward btw) I was in Yanille. So I walked up to castle wars, and played a game. Then I went to H.A.M camp and pickpocket some H.A.M members, cause I haven't in a while. Then I logged out. I didnt exactly acheive much yesterday, but it was fun. My friend spent 10 hours alching yew longs. He got up two mage levels (75 to 77 or something like that). Now you don't need to tell me you who acheived more, and who had more fun... I'm not gonna get a 99 skill anytime soon, doesnt bother me though.
  9. I have nothing against people taking a scientific approach, but you said it youself. Even you think you arent having fun... Now everyone has their own opinions, but why are you doing it if your not having fun? Sure everyone wants full dragon, but is it really worth it? You dont need full dragon, I'm not saying give up fishing, but maybe take a break every once in a while. It's your choice how you want to play the game, but if you're even admitting you're not having fun... Maybe you should go play a bit of cwars every once in a while, or go do a treasure trail. It's your choice how you play... You can ignore me if you want, I'm just some laid back lvl 87. But I don't really see the point in playing if you arent having fun.
  10. If I could really get into training a skill, then maybe I would use the most efficient method... But I could never get into training a skill, doing the same constant thing for 12 hours every day. I find the relaxed approach a lot more fun... Wheres the fun in spending a month at the fishing guild, playing 12 hours a day, doing the same repetitive task just to get a few levels up... I'll train skills if I need to, or want to... But if I was to ever bore myself training skills the scientific efficient way, I might just quit Runescape. Powerlevelling... Not for me. Remember all the ranting on the forums when the wilderness ditch was put in, and how people had calculated how much they would lose in RCing, and how much more time they would lose by having to click on the ditch... I was in hysterics over how pathetic it was... Whats the point playing if your not having fun.
  11. Hmmmn, I'm not quite sure if it is a quest item... But the egg whisk from the culinaromancers chest is pretty useless... \
  12. Sailing or Animal Keeping... Sounds more logical than "Summoning".
  13. I prefer slayer, it's more enjoyable. I really don't care about how much more 1% profit you get, I'm not the sort of guy who spends 24 hours a day playing Runescape just to get a little red hat with a white bobble on top... I just wanna have fun. Isn't that why we play online GAMES.
  14. Sad isn't it... Considering they are trying to get rid of macros, these pictures don't give very good evidence.
