  1. So where the splitter is connected to the phone socket, the phone line and the modem's ADSL line should be plugged. Or do I also need a filter on the splitter for the phone? As for the other sockets, I don't think I need to have filters on them. Isn't part of the problem the phone line is interfering with the ADSL? If it is, we only have one phone line, if you unplug that line, no other telephones work, which means it can't interfere with the ADSL. That phone line is connected to the splitter. I'm a bit confused. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
  2. Ok, so for every wall socket, I need 1 filter. But if I unplug the phone line where currently plugged into the filter, all the telephones won't work. Does it still mean I need a filter for every socket?
  3. My internet sometimes drops out and doesn't work. It won't come back unless I restart the modem. I have called the ISP and they said I need filters on all phone sockets. I currently only have one filter/splitter which is plugged into one wall socket. It has the modem and phone lines plugged into the other end. They also said the cable connecting the modem to the filter must be 3m or less. Mine is around 7-8m. I am using ADSL2+. Anyone know if this stuff is true? Because I've called many times and I think they might be a bit annoyed and just want to make a solution up to get rid of me. :( Any help is appreciated.
  4. Ok, I just disabled all the extensions and restarted Firefox. The RAM Usage is still high. It's improved though, it's only at around 60,000k. I just tried the minimize thing but it doesn't work. The RAM Usage is still high. :(
  5. Recently, Firefox has been using a lot of RAM. It's peak usage is 110,676k and is using 106,164k right now. It used to only use around 20,000k. The CPU Usage is also a bit high sometimes when running Firefox. It goes up and down reaching 100% everytime it goes up. Anyone know why? It is slowing down other programs I am running. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. Don't worry. Problem got fixed. An internet dude came in and got us a new modem/router. The wireless works now. Thanks to all who helped.
  7. Ok, thanks. But can you please tell me why it worked the first few days with the router? And the wireless adapter can still find the network but can't connect. Sorry if it's a bit late to say.
  8. The ports aren't damaged. I can't test the adapter on another computer because it is for laptops and desktops don't have the port. (We only have 1 laptop.)
  9. It is encrypted. When we got the modem/router, my sister connected and entered the password and it worked fine. Now it doesn't work. It says the signal may be too far away when it is only 5m.
  10. My sister has a D-Link DWL-G630 Wireless Adapter. We recently got a new modem/router in one and we don't know if it is compatible. The first few days of the new modem/router, the internet worked on her laptop. Now it doesn't. Our new modem/router is a BiPac 5200G. She tried reinstalling the adapter and it still doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.
  11. Ok, heres a pic of the tank. Can't see the fish though. Here's a pic where you can see the 2 fishies. Does it help?
  12. I don't think thats the problem. The bowl isn't near an window so the sun doesn't directly shine on it. Light reaches it though, it is not in the dark.
  13. What difference does it make if the water is nasty tasting? I think that the tank i too small. I'm going to get a new one soon.
  14. I just got another fishy today. Its smaller though. I think I need a new tank because I heard somewhere a fish needs 1L of water for every cm it is. Does anyone know if this is true?
