  1. Thank god. Anyway, I think that third age prises will go down. People purchased them becuase they were the only shields in the game that would not degrade in addition having the best defense bonuses. They aren't the top to the ladder now.
  2. Awesome idea! I think that the better the stone, the better the weapon! For example, a diamond stone to a rune longsword would add +1 to defense. A onyx stone to a dragon metal sword will give +6 to defense, +1 to strength.
  3. Am I the only one who thinks that RuneScape is less about thinking, and more about clicking? I mean, it just seems to me that nowadays, all you really must do is exercise repetition! You click the same thing over and over for money, you stand in the same place for something every day... When ME P1 and P2 came out, I was happy, because this was the RuneScape that I remembered loving! You would need to write something down in a notebook in order to finish it. It required real interaction with the game, real thought. I think now about this time, you just do the same thing over again, and we need to bring the Puzzle Element of runescape back! This means quests that revolve around thought as well as fighting. Look at the puzzle in Monkey Madness. Why let people pay to bypass that with money? What statement does that send? This element seems to have been lost in the resent development of the game. It's all about progressing, clicking over and over to get one level higher. We need some good old note-taking, thought-inspiring puzzles! Lets throw some spice into the game! I'd love to see some ancient symbols written on a wall, and a clue leading to a decoding key! Random treasure hunts, hidden, only observant players would be able to follow them. I'll ask you all, do you use this website for quest information? I don't because that ruins a huge part of the game. You can if you want to, but it sort of gets off point of the game. Quests aren't made to be mechanically completed, they're made to engage your mind! This mean that it should take you a good week to solve a quest, using nothing but the quest journal and your wits! The achievement dairy brought the puzzle element back from near extinction, and I'm happy Jagex did that. But don't stop now, Jagex, give us some challenges, test not only our knowledge of the runescape world, but the one we live in!
  4. http://www.gametrailers.com/umwatcher.php?id=59795 Leaked footage. I'll be damned if this isn't insane online when the finished game comes out. :P
  5. Looking at a web forum, and a strange topic came up that I was caught looking at.
  6. Type O Negative is the best band ever. Limp Bizkit is the worst. Followed by Insane Clown Posse.
  7. You're entitled to your opinion. I just think it would be good to eliminate the text box messages and replace it with this. I mean, the only reason this is unnecessary is because the text box message exists now, right? I guarantee you, most people would rather have colored numbers then a fleeting text box message. I know that player killers have the stat menu open most of the time (this is because the health bar on the character is not expressive enough.) Therefor, if we could see: *Heath *Character's Freedom Of Movement *Poisoned Status This way, it's not like this impotent information is all spread out all over the place. If you go pking, you look at the health numbers, and the next priority is the inventory (for food). You only eat food when you have a good idea of how your health is doing.
  8. Judgeing by the number of reported deaths resulting from poison damage, I think it would make sence. Think about it. You won't be able to see the message in the chat box after it's high up there, or it's off. And in castle wars, you can tell when to heal based on that information (and trust me, the chat box does NOT work in cw either).
  9. If you're in the wild, you won't be looking at the chat box, trust me.
  10. I'll get right to the point. We have a huge red heart to represent out health. I'm quite fine with that, but the way runescape expresses hitpoints in general could be greatly improved. This is a picture of the hitpoints icon as it is currently: Now, I propose something like the following: As you can see, the backpack icon has been ever so slightly elevated, and in place of the heart icon, there is a healthbar and an "Intelligent" hitpoints display. When you are Frozen the hitpoint display will look like this: With blue numbers. This actually lets you know in a second what you're up against. When you are poisoned the hitpoint display will look like this: With green numbers. No more guesswork. Basically, the whole way we view our health could be changed for the better with these slight changes. Keep in mind I used paint, and I really put effort into the pictures, so talk about the idea, not necessarily my visuals.
  11. I'll see you there blackbear : Anyone who plans on going, please add Hooded_Foe to your friends list, as I WILL be attending.
  12. 6/10 It's coke, and it moves.
