i only used my guthan's for a select few tasks, like kalphites, or black demons, daggnoths if i'm lazy (i have b2p spell so i don't need the tabs). And i just turned on my prayer when i hit 20hp and healed up to 60 ish and turned it off, i used next to no prayer on tasks, just carry a 4 dose with you for safe measures. But definately as soon as you have 430 (400 for helm and 30 so you can cancel a horrid task in case it happens) get the helm. just use that with a scimitar, on strength and it will burn you through most tasks without a ton of trouble. I personally prefer a obby sheild to the rune def because i like having the extra defense over the extra attack bonus. Having a good slayers house is another that is really useful, i keep mine in Rellaka, others keep it in Yanville. You want to have the portals (the canafis one is crucial) have an alter, and a glory on the the wall. And a armor repair stand so you can get a discount on fixing up your barrows. The fairy rings are also very useful. if you haven't done Smoking Kills, stop everything and go do it now. You will honestly be wasting your time until you do it.

nope, they are much quicker than other things, they are my bolts of choice, for most things besides boss hunting.

he can't do addy bodies for a while... Mith bolts at the blast furnace is what i've heard for a few people. Me personally, i just do cballs whenever i want some easy, afk cash and that's how i get my lvl up.

if you hope for one every 20 trips, you will be pleasantly surprised when it shows up sooner!

making broad bolts actually makes money. you can't sell broad arrows on the GE. but broad bolts aren't THAT fast of experience.

you shouldn't only consider the cap on RCing, 100k exp is not something to take lightly. It will get your to 82/91 so much faster. But if you still don't want to, go with Summoning or Prayer. They are both rather expensive and time consuming.

i believe that the crystal bow and shield are tradable at full, but not GEable. i know they aren't for the GE, but i've never tried to trade a crystal bow or shield before.

i'd use shanty unless you want the mage experience. but that's probably just my inner jew coming out. haha.

Construction is definately not a good choice because it is really easy to level without THAT much cost compared to prayer and summoning. RCing is a good choice because its is very hard to get high amounts of RCing experience.

he's only looking for 400 points, he SHOULD get that long before 50. I would advise using sumona for 9 and then duradel for #10, and then finish out your 400 points with sumona. it should only take you 22 tasks doing it that way. although you can get it done in 20 tasks if you use duradel the whole way.

i'd use it on summoning or prayer, unless you are close to a profitable RCing level. i'm probably gonna use mine on prayer. although i might up one on RCing.

i really hope the 95 slayer monster isn't what drops the d pick or warhammer, that would make it ridiculously over priced. now that i think about it, are any of the slayer monsters the sole drop a dragon item? I know they all drop the spear, and dusties drop the chain with the KQ, but aside from the dragon boots (which i consider boots not equipment) do they?

really, alot of money won't make RCing THAT much easier. you can hire runners, which can be very fickle, or you can start ZMI a little sooner, but RCing really is a money making skill. Smithing is good, buyable, and can be done. Crafting is the same, i would prefer to go to smithing because you can offer assistance for smithing Dfire shields and spirit shields to the vast majority of runescape. And it would be nice to know what levels you are starting with before we can really tell you how much it will cost for each skill.

i would use the altar at all times unless you had prayer brawler gloves, then use ecto, the difference in experience is worth the time.

I would like to try using an Ancients method ( ice blitz) but i don't have 82 mage for it yet, i have 79, would it be a realistic option to use mage potions to raise my mage level well above that to use ice blitz? ahrims for mage armor, black d hides + crystal bow (maybe?), and a d scimmy and [bleep]e sheild with the d hides for melee and running through the tunnels. (Barrows gloves, fury, white boots, mage arena cape, and just wearing ahrims hood the whole time.) or should i switch in unholy symbol for fury? sound good?
