lol ty :thumbsup: . still, how is it that my friend has constant drops, and yet my drops are so godawfully split apart?

Ok i was ecstatic when i first got 85 slayer, and i headed on over to abbys. 2k kills later, i felt like puking, and just as i was about to give up, lo and behold, my first whip. However, my friend who was also killing them got 8 by the time i got my first 1. Whats the average drop rate, and why is it that i get them extremely slowly? Will i get whips more often in the future?
