RuneScape Information

  1. Yeah, I'm pretty sure a kitten works fine for everything, so I don't think that's the issue here. If I remember right I did all the cat-related quests without ever growing my kitten into a cat. That did make the evil Dave part of RFD take a while though =P
  2. Once you get up into the 90's then pickpocketing elves in Prifdinnas is very much afk-able thieving xp. Doing that, your last few Thieving levels get very laid-back.
  3. From a fellow Tip.It'er, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! If you would like some extra fun, don't forget to drop in on the Forum Games! ^_^

  4. Happy birthday!

  5. Well, I guess no one was interested in Bandos today, 'cause no one showed up...
  6. - Bandos GWD - Coinshare/Shardshare Time and Date Date: Saturday November 15th, 2014 Time: 2pm EST Other Time Zones: GMT (Greenwich Mean Time): 7PM CET (Central European Time): 8PM PST (US & Canada Pacific Standard Time): 11AM MST (US & Canada Mountain Standard Time): 12PM CST (US & Canada Central Standard Time): 1PM EST (US & Canada Eastern Standard Time): 2PM [pending]cya_1416078000[/pending] Friends Chat: Komodo Jo ~~ This event will be CS (CoinShare/Shardshare) ~~ Server and Location - We will gather in the holding area of the Bandos Encampment, please arrive a little earlier to get your 40 Kill Count before the event begins, 5-10 minutes should be more than enough time. The world will be announced just before we begin. If I can't find a free world then I'll start an instance. The Boss - We will be taking on the mighty General Graardar & his minions. He is a huge ogre-like creature currently stationed in the God Wars Dungeon. His three minions Sergeant Strongstack (melee), Sergeant Steelwill (magic) & Sergeant Grimspike (ranged) will be attacking you while in the fight, however their damage is minimal and they can be taken out rather swiftly after the general is downed. Deemed as the second toughest boss in the God Wars area, the General is definately not to be underestimated. He uses a range of damaging attacks with a max hit of around 1500~.. this means you must keep an eye on your LP as this damage does stack up pretty quickly! Use of protection prayers are highly advised unless if you do not have soulsplit. Please Note: Gravestones will appear outside of the boss room & will be inaccessible to you until you get the 40 KC again, someone may be able to bless your grave in case you die, but we cannot guarantee the safety of your items, so please only bring what you are OK with risking. Please remember to gear up appropriately to get your gear back - you don't want to die another time getting your valuable items back. :P Inventory & Equipment - General Graardor is best taken down with melee or mage; range is not effective. - Advised Setup - Gear + Inventory: * Please note the setup shown is just an example, but it's recommended to have gear that's at least level 60+ ** Other means of attack may be used, magic works well however range isn't recommended. It's advised you bring the best BoB you can get to carry extra supplies; don't forget an extra pouch or 2 also! Recommended stats are; 70+ in your chosen style of attack. Overloads help, SoulSplit too, but they aren't a must. Requirements - At least level 70 strength is needed to enter the Bandos encampment. - Items affiliated to gods, specifically Zamorak & Bandos, a Zamorak arrow & Bandos boots are a good low cost option. If you have completed Fate of the Gods, the Shard of Zaros will work.
  7. No sigils, but most everyone got at least one drop of onyx bolts or cannonballs, so we made a bit of profit and had some fun. A couple deaths, but no losses. Thanks to all who came - hope to see you at the next event!
  8. - Corporeal Beast (COINSHARE) - Time and Date Date: Saturday October 4th GMT (Greenwich Mean Time): 7pm U.S. (Eastern): 3pm U.S. (Central): 2pm U.S. (Mountain): 1pm U.S. (Pacific): 12pm [pending]ora_1412449200[/pending] Server and Location - We will gather outside of the Corporeal Beast lair; world will be announced right before we start. Friends Chat: Komodo Jo ~~ This event will be CS (CoinShare/Shardshare) ~~ The Boss - The Corporeal Beast is the physical incarnation of the Spirit Beast, and is a very powerful boss monster. With a combat level of 785, it is one of the highest-leveled monsters in the game. However, the Corporeal Beast possesses a number of formidable abilities that distinguish it from other monsters of its level. It has very high accuracy, damage, and defense for its levels; it can devour Summoning familiars & it has damage reduction against nearly all sources of damage. Please Note: Gravestones do not appear inside the Corporeal Beast's lair. Items that are dropped on death become visible to other players after 3.5 minutes and disappear after 1 more minute. Inventory & Equipment - The most commonly used & accepted method of taking down the Corporeal Beast is with melee. Damage dealt is halved when using anything other than a spear, so the Chaotic, Zamorakian or Guthan's spears are highly recommended. Mage & Range can also be used but melee is preferred. - Melee Setup - Gear + Inventory: - Magic Setup - Gear + Inventory: - Ranged Setup - Gear + Inventory: * Please note the setups shown are just examples, but it's recommended to have gear that's level 70+ ** Staffs & Duel Wielded crossbows can be used also, just remember to change the abilities which correspond to your levels/ setup. Please DO NOT bring any familiars, the Corporeal Beast will eat them whole. :) Recommended stats are; 70+ in Attack, Strength, Defence & Constitution if you choose to opt with melee. 80+ In Ranged and/ or Magic is advised if using one of those two attack styles. Overloads help, SoulSplit too, but they aren't a must. Requirements Completion of Summers' End quest.
  9. Unfortunately, we got quite unlucky with drops and got not a single split (or even a godsword shard or nice RDT drop) in over 3 hours. It was still fun though - thanks to all who came!
  10. - Armadyl Assault! - (COINSHARE/SHARDSHARE) Time and Date Date: Saturday September 27th, 2014 Time: 7pm GMT Other Time Zones: CET (Central European Time): 9pm US Eastern: 3pm US Central: 2pm US Mountain: 1pm US Pacific: 12pm [pending]cya_1411844400[/pending] Friends Chat: Komodo Jo ~~ This event will be CoinShare/Shardshare ~~ Meeting Location - We will gather in the holding area of the Armadyl Encampment. Please arrive a little earlier to get your 40 Kill Count before the event begins; 10-15 minutes should be enough time. Server will be announced just before we start. The Boss - We will be taking on the valiant Kree'arra & his three bodyguards for this week's event! Her three bodyguards Flight Kilisa (Melee), Flockleader Geerin (Ranged) & Wingman Skree (Magic) will be attacking you while in the fight. These minions are the hardest hitting of all in the God Wars Dungeon, so beware! Once regarded as one of the toughest & highest rewarding bosses in Runescape, Kree'ara has had a somewhat timely demise from glory... however it is definitely not to be underestimated & its drops are still somewhat worth a mention! :D Please Note: Gravestones will appear outside of the boss room & will be inaccessible to you until you get the 40 KC again. Someone may be able to bless your grave in case you do die, but we can't guarantee anything so hurry back and make sure when in the boss room you are using protect item (and a sign of item protection is also recommended). Please remember to gear up appropriately to get your gear back, you don't want to die another time while trying to get your valuable items back. :P It's advised you bring the best BoB you can get to carry extra supplies. Don't forget an extra pouch or 2 also, along with a summoning / super restore potion to restore your summoning points. Recommended stats are; 70+ in either Magic or Ranged - Melee can not be used here unfortunately! :( Overloads help, SoulSplit too, but they aren't a must given the numbers that may well be attending. We recommend at least lvl 70+ ranged/magic gear and weapons. Please Note: If you have an Aviansie slayer task, bring your slayer helm for that extra damage boost! Good Luck all! :D
  11. Warped Terrorbirds back before EOC. Those things were way too tough for their level, and dropped junk. The warped tortoises right next door were 10x easier with 10x better drops. I also hated all the slayer monsters you had to use an item on once red-barred to kill, but they've made that process easier nowadays.
  12. In total we got 1 Seers ring and 3 Hatchets. We also got pretty lucky with sizable drops of water talismans, earth talismans, and addy ore (from the rare drop table). Thanks to all who came! Hope to see you again at future events!
  13. Dagannoth Kings (Coinshare) Time and Date [pending]gra_1410030000[/pending] Date: Saturday, September 6th Time: 3 PM EST Other timezones: BST (British Summer Time): 8 pmCEST (Central European Summer Time): 9 pmAEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time): 5 amPST (US & Canada Pacific Standard Time): 12 pmMST (US & Canada Mountain Standard Time): 1 pmCST (US & Canada Central Standard Time): 2 pmEST (US & Canada Eastern Standard Time): 3 pmServer and Location The server will be announced when the event starts. We will meet outside the dungeon entrance on Waterbirth Island. Friends' Chat Komodo Jo The Boss We will be killing all three of the dagannoth kings. Each king is highly resistant (pretty much impervious) to two attack styles and weak to one, so make sure you are familiar with them. We highly recommend reading the official Tip.it guide and familiarizing yourself with the boss mechanics. You will need all three attack styles in order to damage all three bosses. Equipment and Inventory Equipment: We highly recommend using Akrisae's robes or Warpriest. It will allow you to attack all three kings without switching armor. Ritual of the Mahjarrat is required to wear Akrisae's. If neither are an option, any level 60+ gear will work, just bring a set for each attack style (in this case, you'll only need to swap out the weapon, body, and legs; the rest of your gear doesn't affect accuracy). The helmet is from completing the emissary tasks. It is a level 60 all class helmet that does not degrade and is easily replaceable. Almost any level 60+ helmet will work. The Fremennik Boots 4 increase damage by 10% and are a great addition if you have them. In regards to Balmung, Drygores > Enhanced Balmung = Chaotics > lvl 75 > lvl 70 > Balmung Inventory: Remember to bring weapons for all three combat styles. After completing the elite Fremennik diaries, you can set your lyre to teleport to Waterbirth. I highly recommend bringing plenty of food. You may not need it, but dying is a huge pain, so it's good to be safe. Requirements: We recommend at least level 60 armor and weapons. You must bring all 3 combat styles (don't forget runes and ranged ammo!). Happy hunting!
  14. Definitely do sinkholes. I never did those, and then one day I tried them and was like "Why the heck haven't I been doing these all along?". Since then I do my two every day and have gotten tons of tokens to buy everything I might want and my DG level has been steadily rising just from sinkholes. All from like 15 minutes of work (fun) a day. :D
  15. 3.5 hours after we started, we're done. A small group, but that just meant bigger shares of loot! We got a warrior ring early on, and then after quite a while we got an archer ring. Then we were dry for awhile until we'd dropped down to two of us, at which point we got 2 dragon hatchet splits and then on the very last kill before we left we got a seers ring. All in all, not a bad trip. Those noted water talisman drops are rather nice, amounting to more than most of the rare drops! Personally, with the splits and other loot I was able to bank with my yak, I totaled just under 8.5 mil in drops. Thanks to all who came! I hope you enjoyed yourselves and hope to see you again at future events!
