there is an option ... you say something like "Can i have Silverlight instead of Darklight" he just tells you "NO, Silverlight is Darklight. It's been tainted with the blood of a demon" (or words to that effect) thus - you can ask, but can't get Shadow of the Storm completed long, long time ago (same with Demon slayer) ... and no longer have either sword (just wanted to display both in POH) thanks for the tip on the F2P ... never thought about trying there EDIT LOL ... when asking for the Darklight (on F2P) you are told, "how can I give you a member item, we're on a non-member world" you respond with "oh yeah, i guess that's a good point"

just wondering if there was a way to have both Silverlight and Darklight in your possession at the same time ... I know I can goto Sir Prysin and buy Darklight for 1k, but how (or can I ?) "re-obtain" Silverlight if so, please tell the 5 W's (who, what, where, when and why)

I have gotten my account back, but still with no REAL explanation as to why I was banned in the first place unless you count this as reason ... what gain ??? I never sold anything, nor alch anything, so what gain did I achieve ??? the first thing I did when I discovered that my account was given back was to go look to see just how many bolts I actually had ... 689 enchanted emerald bolts (although I thought it much closer to 400 ... ) with a bank roll of more than a few dollars, one would wonder WHY I did not go the route that some of the others did and create million and millions and millions of more monies to add to my measly stash ... why waste 3 days mining for emeralds in Shilo, when I could of easily bought them in GE ... heck why not just buy premade emerald bolts altogether and just enchant them 1 at a time to make millions and billions (as others have suggested that I did, or at least alluded to) why didn't I do this ??? because I never knew the bug existed until yesterday, and that was only after about 3 hours of channel surfing to find the answers I was looking for I asked in the official forums for a simple explanation as to what I did that was so wrong, here is what was said copied straight from my ban page ... nothing here about 24 hours, or 2 weeks ... just 02-Mar-2011 (NEXT YEAR) as far as my membership goes ... I only have 20 days left ... yesterday it was 22 ... thanks for the refund Kalafa you were right, it was a temporary ban, but from my point of view, there was nothing to support that, in fact it looked as if I was going to get banned for a year for something I STILL AM NOT SURE what it was that I was supposed to have done ***** this from customer support pages ... I'll buy that, and even respect that ... but then Jagex also makes this comment if you are not being told why you were banned (other than the pre-formed "we have evidence") then how can an innocent person avoid doing something wrong in the future I would really hate to have to cruise the forums for hours in order to find out if fletching yews today is a bannable offense, or if cooking sharks tomorrow will be illegal if I made thousands and thousands of bolts and then sold them for a stupid amount of money, okay .... but that is not the case here ... I simply made enough to replace what I had lost/used up a few weeks prior ... 689 bolts is hardly the work of a bug-exploiter (and emerald on top of that, not dragon or onyx) hahaha .... look at me, then go look thru the forums (be it here, or the 'official' forums or any other fansite or any other gaming site and read the rants of how many times people have been banned for unknown reasons) *********** to the one who said I should have my mother call, I wish I could ... but seeing as how she passed away 2 years ago from cancer, it's kinda hard to do that and no, I'm not some dumb 12 year old ... in fact I'm over 21 years old (much older) ... own my own house (3 bedroom, ranch styled on 1.5 acres with the bathroom and kitchen just remodeled) ... 2 cars in the driveway ... hers is a 2009 Camry, while mine is 2001 Black Monte Carlo SS (had to have it when I saw it 4 years ago ... Losing the 1k isn't Jagex's fault, so that's not even kind-of an excuse. What I think you got banned for was not stopping the "bug abuse" even after you realized that you were getting an abnormally large number of bolts back in return. Anyone would've figured out that it was a bug, and it also happens to be common knowledge that when presented with a bug, you stop, report, and not abuse it again. I also doubt that Jagex mistook your money gain from other sources with your bug abuse. I know for a fact they have extensive logs, so it wouldn't have made a difference if you got 5 million dragon bolts from a drop party the day you abused the bug because Jagex would be able to figure out the difference. If I were you, I'd appeal and just apologize your [wagon] off and hope Jagex feels some pity. You really have no case otherwise. Tell them you didn't mean to abuse the bug. I never said that it was Jagex's fault for me acting stupid and looking away while fighting black dragons (in the Evil Chicken Lair) ... but I died and lost 1000+ enchanted emerald bolts .... ranging ammy ... obby cape ... a few other things that I figured up to be about 1.6 mill alas ... stupid me for looking away ... time to replace my bolts, so I went about and made new ones ...I'm playing the game that way it was supposed to be played ... honest and the first I ever heard about any bug was whenI went to log in Tuesday and saw that I was banned for bug abuse ... me ??? .... the first thing that went thru my mind was someone stoled my account abnormally large amount of bolts back in return ... WTF ??? 30 gems (roughly), use a chisel and turn them into bolt heads ... 12 tips x 30 gems = 360 tips ... I said roughly, i may have had a few more, maybe a few less, not quite sure on the exact number, but roughly 30 gems) I ended up with around 400 or so finished bolts I understand that the "duping" part allowed some one to get 10 bolts for every one that they enchanted ... that being the case I should of had over 3500 bolts that's a far cry from the PUNY AMOUNT OF 400 I put into my bank I feel that I should not have to apologize for something that I DID NOT DO ... on the other hand, they are the ones that OWE ME an apologize wrong place, wrong time

did I make them the ordinary way or dupe them ??? let's see ... I went to Shilo mines and for 3 days mined till i had roughly 30 or so emerald gems, then I used a chisel on them to turn them into bolt tips. next I went and mined enough mith ore (in Fally mining guild) to gather about 30 pieces of ore ... since I already had coal (from managing my kingdom) I did not seethe use in getting any of that (and since I already had some mith ore and mith bars in my bank, i figured I only need 30 pieces) next I went to the fally furnance and made several runs to turn my mith into usable bars, then it was off to varrock to make mith bolt shafts did 2 small runs into the smithing shop across from the west bank, made around 500 mith bolts ... next it was back to the bank and I spent a few minutes attaching feathers to the shafts I attached the emerald bolt tips to the shafts and then cast the bolt enhancement spell to enchant them ( I used 1 cosmic, 1 nature rune and my air staff per enchant) after that I put all 400 or so enchanted emerald bolts into my bank and logged out ... that was last Friday (26 FEB 10) or maybe Saturday (27 FEB 10) Tuesday afternoon I went to log back on to play the game and found out I have been banned for bug abuse (that's the only thing I'm being told) ... what bug ??? what did I do that was so wrong ... you TELL me if I "duped" something or not .... if the problem existed because of "duping" dragon bolts ... I ask that Jagex look thru any and all records that pertain to my account and tell me when I have had EVEN ONE dragon bolt in my possession .... I'm assuming that my ban is related to the news story about cheaters abusing the system of an unknown bug that resulted in them gathering hundreds of millions of gold coins in just a few hours ... did I sell any of my 400 bolts ... no ... even at today's prices ... I would have netted a mere 300k .... not the mark of a "dreaded" cheater ... and not the mark of someone that deserves to be banned for a year so, again, I must ask ... what did I do that was so wrong besides being in the wrong place at the wrong time

I'm under the impression that while enchanting bolts you could actually got more than what you started with ... I got banned for replacing the 1,000 that I lost while fighting black dragons with 400 or so bolts

don't know if I'm one of those mentioned or not, but I suspect that I am .... you see, I've been banned for bug abuse ... while I will admit that in the past week I did make about 400 enchanted emerald bolts, I never sold any of them ... so where did I exploit the system at ? where was the out cry for my support when I had a slayer task about a month or so ago that called for the destruction of 123 black dragons ... I died and lost about 1k worth of enchanted emerald bolts that i made probably 2-3 years ago ... now that I have replaced them (after spending more than 3 days at the Shilo mines trying to gather roughly 30 or so emeralds) or it must be that my bank account grew from 10 mill to 40 mill in about 4 days (about 2 weeks ago) .... maybe because I sold hundreds of my potions (thanks to my kingdom for all those years of collecting herbs) or maybe it was the fact that I emptied out my treasure chests in my house and sold all that stuff ... you know ... my Guthix and Sara Vestments, my gold trimmed wiz robes, my gold trimmed black armour, all 30 pieces of special helmets and shields (black helm (h1) black helmet (h2) black helmet (h3) .... ect ... black, addy and rune all had 5 shields and 5 helmets ... 30 pieces ... almost 1 mill from those alone) I had almost 25 million from all that stuff alone along with the pots I sold and the 2k worth of cooked sharks and the 5k worth of cannon balls .... nah ... couldn't be that I was actually playing the game as it was intended ... I must have cheated some how come on ... 8 year old account ... 40 million dollars ... I'm a real serious bad guy here .... never mind those bots that make million in a single afternoon, those are okay ... gotta get that small guy who actually works for his money ban me for what ... because my account looked suspicious ??? I remember a few years ago, all the china bots that were around ... it took them forever to get rid of them the merchant clans that are openly manipulating the economy ... what about them ??? nope ... Jagex has decided to take a loyal, 8 year old, paying account and ban me for what ... wrong time, wrong place

the glitches that I remember are the Fally Massacre (as mentioned already) and the party hat duplication glitch (2003) and the most recent one (and the biggest in a long time, IMO) was the one that happened in June of 2009 when Jagex tried to update their game engine which caused all sorts of problems ... many banks (including the GE) had no player access ... meaning you could not use the banks ... many creatures stopped attacking ... meaning that people had the ability to solo the Corporeal Beast with little or no fear of being killed ... going thru the Fight Caves could of been done in just a very short time (as compared to the many hours it normally takes) ... people were able to do the God Wars Dungeon without fear of being killed ... Jagex updated their servers a total of 6 times that day in order to right all the wrongs that occured many of the most famous bugs/glitches can be found here at this link http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Glitch

my number one all-time favorite was Sheep Herder ... there were 3 or 4 of us trying to get the sheep into the pen with our prods and I was laughing so hard at everyone else failing to get their sheep to move ... priceless laughter least favorite ... Monkey Madness ... died 3 times, I lost so much doing this quest that I truly hate it now ...

I get tired of people using that quip "they are just pixels" ... I've been working since I was 12, mowing grass in the summer and shoveling snow in the winter ... got my "first" real job at 16 working as a bus-boy ... did a small stint in the military ... worked on the docks loading 16 tons of coal ... the point i'm trying to make is that I know what the value of money is ... I've had to break my back to make it for a LONG time now ... thus my time is very valuable to me ... and everything I do has a value to it the hours of playing RS and the hours of effort that I put into it are worth something to me ... so whether its an abby whip or a bronze dagger ... its all worth something to me, cause I earned it if you still think that they are just pixels, then just find me in the game I'll take your dragon chain and full Guthan from ya ... after all ... they are just pixels
