I agree that runecrafting has become less of a profit, being that im 98 rcing i have little motivation to craft other than exp. However going back to my original statement about skills never decreasing in value, i was going for more a long the lines of, items are worth gp and over time all items (except some rares) decrease in value as time goes on, however when you level up skills they will never decrease. You will still have 99 or whatever level in that skill and will be able to do whatever you can with the skill no matter how much time passes. Sure the usefulness may go up and down but still doesnt change the fact that hopefully :pray: one day all skills will be useful

Just invest in skills they never decrease in value :thumbup: Just buy supplies or rares pretty much are your best bet

This even if it is artwork team, id rather them be doing something that would actually contribute to the game

Why am i being punished for raising my herblore level

Well I actually enjoyed getting 99 prayer, however this was before the "alter x" update. So now I assume its just boring waiting to be done with your inventory, i suggest music or do homework and talk in HYT.

So i havent done any dg since before the 2nd patch, I hear there are elite worlds for people are they on the forums or where can i find them? Also, what has changed since 1st patch to 2nd patch? Also which floors should i rush now a days?

at one point nex says something about taste the virus or something, then the guys character says *cough* then he tries to spec and it does nothing. Im thinking this "virus" is stat draining?

Awesome! they look great and as a person who loves runecrafting i must say i'd love to have a set of those myself!

As said by others, protection prayers extend fights and that would be find except once people get low on food they either run or teleport so why bother fighting them in the first place? Fighting someone using protection prayers during a single combat, especially in lower level wild is just not worth it, therefore why people look down on it.

Truely quitting? Well i dont know if i'll ever truly quit. I have taken many long breaks and am on one right now. It would take something pretty drastic such as them stop updating the game, or something else.

Couple good points. The green dragon thing is a reason I don't want the old wildy to come back. Praying on players who aren't geared to fight other players, who don't want to fight other players, shouldn't have to fight other players. Green dragons being in the wild doesn't mean they want to fight other players, it means they want to make some money without going into the CT. You dont think that this will be something Jagex moves from the wilderness to another location? With the popularity of green dragons, it is very plausible to think they may move them out of the wilderness following the update. Mainly I support the free trade, unfortunately free pking must go along with it so I can accept it. If I get killed in the wild while trying to do clue scroll or something, I will be pissed, but I will get over it. Why would they move green dragons from the wild? They were never meant to be a safe way to get money that's why they are in the wild. When they removed pking they still had revenants. I dont see how it is much different considering revenants teleblock you and freeze you. You say that people are preying on players who arent gear to fight other people, yet your geared enough to fight revenants? I dont see the argument.

I'll first start off by saying that I didnt pk back in the day nor do I do now. However I am voting YES for this change back because... -Runescape needs some risk, some scammers, some danger. Why scammers? they are bad, yes. However, back in the day we got scammed and learned from our mistakes and it was just a part of becoming an experienced player. Now a days we have warning signs and wilderness ditches and confirmation trade screens that flash if anything was changed and to top it off, we are told how much everything costs. To put it blunt, it has made the game very boring. As for the argument that by bringing back free trade bots will become more abundant. Yes they probably will, but we have bots now, so now in addition to players using bots to boosts their stats, other will use bots to sell gp. Honestly, people shouldnt care about what others do. I play this game to have fun and wouldnt pay one cent for fake money. Anyone that does I laugh at for paying real money for fake. Is it fair to those that work for gp? No. Life isnt fair and nothing really is In the end i must say this whole thread of arguments is pointless. It is clear that the majority have voted to pass the change. So those that dont like it should either adapt or quit like we did when they changed it in 07.
