  1. I decided to put all my money in my moneybag, since I never go into the wilderness anyway. Then I bought stuff from the grand exchange: According to the GUI, I have no coins, when I'm trying to buy stuff! What a pain in the ass; at least it's not a serious detriment to gameplay, since I can still buy stuff with the coins auto-deducted from the moneybag.
  2. I don't get it at all, maybe because of the bad english. The best part is the last line: "Can I have 500k?"
  3. I can see the Grand Exchange in my mind's eye...and it is not a happy vision. Surely, members would complain about having to share their game worlds with noobs? I think the best idea is to simply just give more to F2P. Perhaps not new (or high-level) material, but old but tried-and-true games. Perhaps giving some mid-level content, like quests, perhaps, to F2P: would that really be such a bad thing? A quest or two, or a minigame; perhaps move Castle Wars or Soul Wars to free-to-play areas? It'd breathe new life into the Free-to-play game, which as of now is simply a grind to get semi-decent to have fun in the member's world.
  4. Aleksander pulled up his email application off idle. He only had four messages...but 300 spam messages. "What drudgery," he thought to himself. "I must remember to configure my filters later." After he mass-deleted his spam, he went through his inbox. "Spam...spam...newsletter..." he groaned. The last message, though, looked promising; it was sent by one of those nameless disposable emails. He clicked through. The subject was "Chrononauts". Aleksander made it a point to never seem surprised, no matter who was around. This time, however, got him pretty close. He cleared his throat and scratched his armpit, his only tell. Reading through the email made it pretty clear that there was an American Temporal Agent with a need to meet. Aleksander debated with himself for a second, then quickly typed up a reply. The two time travelers would meet the next day, 0500, in the Café Mercier.

  6. Vanya concentrated for a second and her Europan parasite creature shapeshifted into a knife. She grimaced for a second as it took a small bite into her skin, feeding on her blood. She quickly stabbed the knife into the stag's eyes, then heart, then quickly skinned the beast. Packing up her small, dingy camp and holding the stag's silver skin, she headed back to the spaceport to catch a shuttle to Nulvedia, the black market planet. OOC: I'm planning to meet up with Argon and Ang soon, like next post.

  13. Wow, I would totally take part in an RPG like this. Because technology, especially living technology, is cool. Living as in thinking, not as in breathing. I can see how this could go...in like 30 different ways.
  14. Okay, now that's just...no. We have enough crossbows. But the idea is about right.
