  1. I would really love this skill! Very imaginative, practical and not a moneysink. Though that lvl 96 God Wars thing isn't really rewarding. With the introduction of As A First Resort we have a spa that raises prayer way more than +5 and I don't think many people would go there for prayer exp as house alters I'm sure would still be faster exp and time=money. I can't imagine what would be the lvl 99 reward would be awesome.
  2. Farming is one of the most unique skills and could be used to good potential. Though I dislike how it doesn't have much content like the only good way to make money is herbs and snapdragons are one of the last good money maker for herbs and that ends at what lvl 63? You can farm new trees and fruit trees but man its just a moneysink and faster exp. Oh and growing a spirit tree (lvl 85) isn't all that rewarding in how much effort you put into it. I do love how I see a mighty tree and harvesting 9 ranarrs, pretty exciting but I hate how I get to worried about them getting disease and such can't get enough consentration on what I'm doing. I lost 4 of my ranarr seeds in a few run before and that really was frustrating.
  3. I'd go with pineapple pizzas. Heal 22 and only cost like 450 each? (can be lower if you buy pineapples from that guy in that place west of Wolf Mountain). To make them just go to the Warriors Guild and buy plain pizzas for 200 each, dice some pineapples then add them together very fast to make.
  4. I'm almost at 2.5K pieces of eight. Which means full naval from Trouble Brewing. Now one problem. I don't know what color to pick. Pictures would be perfect but a description of your best is fine. Not only looks but rarity aswell I want a color that isn't seen often, I don't want to look like everyone else.
  5. This thread is becoming a flame war. Now my opinion is it's NOT a combat skill. People might have different views on what a combat skill is(something that levels your combat lvl or just needs combat to actually train it). Though really, Jagex ideas of a combat skill is clearly something that levels your combat lvl.
  6. I've been doing some clues lately (mostly lvl 3s) and I remember I did one lvl 2 clue and recieved an adamant cane. As you can guess I was very excited, I sold it and realised that lvl 2 clues actually have some pretty amazing stuff in them e.g. 5M ranger boots and those masks worth a few million. So my question is what is the best monster to obtain them?
  7. Its not like I support having a dragon crossbow and dragon bolts, but I don't really like how you need to do clues to obtain it. First off we already have enough rare items to rewards us of our clue scrolls and just did get an update. Lastly, clues I believe reward us with items that are used for style, fun and rareness apposed to full on benefits that will help overcome your opposition. Yes ranger boots and robin hoods do provide the best range bonus in their class, but you can't fully see that in all clue items (I don't think you'll use 3rd Age at Bandos or what ever). Now the case with a dragon crossbow and bolts you would want it to be used in many areas with amazing uses, not some weapon thats only to show off. As you can see it doesn't fully suit clues. To end off I would expect as most people a new high lvl slayer monster (like lvl 92 required) to drop the limbs of the dragon crossbow and high lvl fletchers use a magic log stock and bowstring to finish off. Then the bolts will come from the rare Dragon Impling but loot of dragon bolts is rarer than dragon arrows.
  8. Thanks you so much for this guide. When I first started I did the areas with the wolves and orges and such what a pain, then found your guide and I'm massacring these chompies ever since. I'm only at 401 kills but I'll try to do atleast 1k. Tip: If you ever want to bank the chompies I believe the best way is to use fairy rings. Theres a fairy ring real close by (BKP) then type AKS just run south and go to Ogoloo place (Where you did As A First Resort quest, with all the female orges). Bank there. Though the real benefit is the that run pool. Its almost certain that you'll never reach 0% run energy before you take a full load of chompies and bank.
  9. Yes firemaking isn't very helpful but there many components is all skills that are a bit useless. Jagex should really stop giving us new skills and start making higher lvl content for the skills we already have! My little suggestion for firemaking is building like bawn fires that could attract certain creatures for Hunter and Slayer. There are certain areas around rs that are bawn fireable (is that even a word?) each area contains 1 of many creatures from slayer and hunter, like one is in the jungle, woodlands and even artic areas. Better the log used and higher your firemaking the faster, easier and more of that monster will appear for you to reap the rewards. Now I have no idea what these creatures could be but they'll have some good rewards. Just my 2 cents.
  10. Someone should try the lvl 142 Skeletons or even skeletons in general. Also Rock Crabs are nice they drop gold charms. Though the ratio is pretty big like between 10-20+ rock crabs has a gold charm (well thats with me). With a cannon though you can get about 100+ gold charms an hour, maybe less.
  11. I would save them. With the other batch of summoning creatures in Feb. that can give a faster and cheaper way to level it.
  12. Well it can get a lot of herbs. With the forger effect it can get 1 herb randomally for just letting it out. Then there is the special which has a chance to get a herb instantly and when fighting monsters it has a higher chance to get better herbs from the loot, but I don't know if ranarr is considered a better herb as its a very low herb compared to most. With this you can get an amazing amount of herbs and possibly better ones to! Which can easily pay off what the macaw cost to summon.
  13. Yea but they hit 6s and 5s consistently through 99 def with DFS and full melee armour. Then again mummies hit consistent high 10s and even 25 and they pile you so protect melee there. I hear that wearing yak hide armor and Fremennik shield are the best to protect you from Ice trolls.
  14. If they were tradable then the cost for summoning would easily double (if you bought them of course). That being said only the people with a hell of a lot of money to spare would get 99 (if they bought the charms), but would be very much faster.
  15. I know there are useful things in summoning and really I'm waiting for the next group to come in. When you look up summoning you'll find a lot of reserves there and even a level 99 one, I want to see what that holds. I've been trying to find uses, like I think a combo of the Ibis: Fish Rain thing and the other special from a monster in where you can eat raw fish. Though I can't see lossing 4 inventory and spending a lot of gp for something like maybe 80 hp tops.
