  1. If I am skilling and I DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY of your idiotic statements or questions, it does not mean I am a bot. If I had a nickel everytime I got reported for being a bot, i would seriously be able to use that money to pay for my member's fees every month.

    JaGEx >_<

Theres obviously lots of people who don't like the updates, but don't complain and just silently hate. You can't look at TIF's and RSOF's ranting population and say they are the only people in runescape who hate the updates. Facts are many people may not want to rant, weather its wannabemodship, no access to forums, or simply the knowledge they have that jagex probably isnt going to change anything, regardless of what the players think. It doesnt matter how many people do not like the updates. I do not like every update there is, but as an adult or at least someone as mature as a real 13 year old should be, have a choice to either play or not. I give Jagex 5 USD per month to play their game. Their game is not the end all of games out there. I have a choice and I choose to stay here because I find enjoyment in their product. And I am sure there are 10s of thousands even hundreds of thousands who agree with me. What is quite funny is the amount of complaining, and the lack of action. And as I said in my previous post, leave and hurt them where it hurts the most, their bottomline. Anything else is just haters who want to be heard.

    JaGEx >_<

If you do not like what Jagex is doing with their property, you can just simply leave. You have all the free will to do just about anything you want in cyberspace. But to still come around and whine just about everything in the world is quite annoying, but entertaining. I will be honest and say that it will be a sad day when all these whiners realize that this is not a democracy. The only say you have about Jagex's business practice is not to participate in a game you have deemed "unplayable" anymore. If you hate it so much, please do us a favor and stop playing and make a REAL statement. As soon as Jagex notices a DROP in their bottomline, then they will react and maybe listen to get you back and reel in your cash. To be honest, the "ranters" about the "bad" decisions that Jagex makes is just a smaller portion of the whole Runescape population. For every one of you, there are dozens who are content to play the game. So do us a favor, shut up and quit, because that is the only way to get Jagex to even acknowledge your existence is to not exist in their revenue.
  4. I would like to offer my congratulations to Miss War18 for her victory in this race. I concede =) I will be there with you to celebrate tho (hopefully)
  5. People should seriously understand what the word "Economy" means before they start such ignorant posts

    Bandits.

Why shouldn't they? It's like making a string X. It's taking out some of the grinding, not convincing people to AFK. It's more like bringing the wildy back in all its former glory and telling people if you attack ANYONE in there you will be banned. Or making a string X option and then telling people they'll be banned for using it. Why add a feature (being able to AFK) and then ban people when they AFK? In all honesty I'm sure Jagex know alot more about this situation than I do, but from my limited knowledge it seems somewhat idiotic. But I'm no expert. 1. No it is not. 2. No it is not 3. No it is not. 4. Yes they do. Please form analogies that make sense. It's a good thing you give such great explanations for why you think I'm wrong  . Please don't quote me again unless you're going to put some thought into your post. Maybe you should learn how to create analogies that make sense... Obviously you didn't learn to read that part. Once you formulate some intelligent analogies, I shall deem your post worthy of a response.
  7. That is solid BS. The large majority would not do the stupid thing and put themselves in danger. That stereotype comes from movies. The vast majority of men are not intelligent enough think with anything but their nether regions. To you, you may feel that stereotype comes from movies, but I speak from experience. If you have no freakin idea what you are talking about, you should learn your place in this world.
  8. Take a look at your bolded text. That is a complete contradiction of your rant.
  9. The game is 100 times better to the majority of the RS population. Sadly ur in the minority that feels that they got cheated out of "their" game. Too bad so sad, you are a year late so expect 0 sympathy for creating a thread way too late. We couldn't care any less that you have been away for 2 or so years, that is not our problem. Please go disappear for another 2 years and comeback to complain about next month's updates.
  10. You are as wrong as wrong can be about a few points in your post. 1. Women are as capable as men are in physical strength, and that includes physical and mental endurance. Women in the Israeli army serve as honorably in combat as their male counterparts. Why? because they respect their women. 2. Your stereotype of a "Valley girl" not being able to perform as well as a football player is false. Although for most it is a safe bet that a more physically trained individual can perform better in an environment such as the military, I have witnessed more macho football players falling out of basic training than the prissy valley girls. Strength doesn't mean anything in the military, it comes down to endurance and mental fitness. If you have the mental capacity to endure it, you will succeed, many football players cannot get beyond the confines of a football field. 3. I do agree with you about political suicide of any politician who would want to reinstate the draft. Unless the US gets invaded by a power greater than us, there SHOULD never be a draft. Now, women in the US are combat pilots and they fly helicopters into direct combat, but they will not in any foreseeable future be allowed in the infantry. Women are as physically fit as men and have the capability to do anything in the military that a man can do. What keeps women from combat? Men. Simply put, American men are the most unsophisticated bastards in the world and feel that a woman is beneath him. And because of that, men will always try to be all macho and "protect" a woman. Example: A woman in combat will never be treated as equal by her male counterparts. And if she falls into a situation where she is in trouble, (even if she is capable of handling it herself) a man will feel obligated to bail her out, possibly putting himself in stupid undue danger and risking the lives of him, her, and possibly the rest of the squad.

  12. Your whole argument here fails. Where is it that they took away gameplay by adding the PvP worlds? They have vastly increased gameplay by doing so. Now you can PK at your heart's content and not just do it in the wilderness, but in areas that were once deemed safe prior to the big update. So yes, gameplay is increased. Now if you are inferring that the lack of gameplay is because you cannot make a profit or as large of a profit like you were able to prior to the big update, well that is just too bad. But to try to correlate the lack of profitability to Jagex killing gameplay is just plain stupid. You fail.
  13. Says the person who sent me flaming PM's and cried to a mod when I responded back. This makes you a double hypocrite. It's funny how you always initiate flamewars when you're the one who cries about them in the end. And at least I make relevant posts. How is being a hypocrite relevant to some people's actions causing innocent people to suffer? My point was that life isn't going to be fair in that context, so why should RS be an exception, but then you went on to call me a hypocrite. Now how about you answer my question. What is RWT a "scapegoat" for? He is not going to answer your question because he cannot. By debunking your argument at this point, he would be tearing apart his own "facts". So I would be surprised if he does answer your questions directly from this point on
  14. I am all for the GE. It has made life for me much easier and I am "forced" to make more money now when I sell my stuff. My time is worth more than trying to haggle with morons who have nothing better to do in life than to waste my time trying to haggle another GP or 2. I don't have the time for that and I am thankful for the GE for forcing me to make more money through selling. I used to sell my finished goods at a price that is so low that you would cry for not having the opportunity to get in on it while it was still good. Let's just say that if I was still selling cooked lobbies, I would be making and additional 75gp per. The trade limit is a trade off. On the plus side, it stopped all the stupid "I got scammed" rants, but was replaced by the even more annoying "OMG RS died with the loss of the wilderness" threads. But in all the GE did make player interactions better. Instead of just haggling with people, I can go skill after putting my stuff up for sale, and have real interactions with people on a more casual level than just hearing them repeat the same spam over and over again. Now you always claim that RS died on that day of a certain update. So you think that the game is ruined because the game got enhanced for the majority rather than appeasing the small minority? But look on the bright side of things, Jagex has been actively giving you high quality new content that all the "hardcore players" the "pkers" should be proud of. Don't hate because your playing style is so one dimensional that you ultimately got phased out of the game. The game as it imitates life, is about the ability to adapt and if you are not strong enough to man up, don't go around crying about it still.
  15. Because it's impossible to track which accounts crashed because of this. I am sorry but I have to highly disagree. I used to run a massive online game where several hundreds played at one time. We were able to tell as much as what buttons they pushed at what time, how long they held it, where their camera angle was, etc. There are logs for this. Like I said, they could tell who clicked on a penguin. They can tell who typed ยต. They can tell who died. EDIT: Plus, they would know which accounts to look into seeing as the victims could post for their accounts to be looked into. Ok you you proved what? that you can log the activities of several hundred players. Runescape has what? A million or 2? And at one time 10s and 100s of thousands playing at one time. To do a query to get all of those who played during the bug would take a considerable amount of time. Then to tighten the query to only include those who were in areas affected by the bug.. the narrow a query to find those who were affected by that bug. And then do an audit on each of those logs one by one and then make a decision would take more time that it is worth for Jagex. The amount of additional labor, overtime and costs to do such a thing would clearly come as a cost to someone.. and I refuse to pay for that.
