  1. Although skillcapes are indeed incentive for players to get 99s, I don't believe they encourage botting as much as other issues. The massive increase in bots after the trade limits were removed would imply that people mainly bot for other reasons. RWT and creating cash are probably high on that list, but that doesn't mean 99s are botted because RWTers all want skillcapes. It's good to remember that RWT does not equal botting by definition. However, I do agree that the completist cape would encourage people to bot for it. The amount of castle wars games required is mind-boggling. What's also interesting, is that we can assume Jagex adds these capes to keep players playing the game (by providing goals), yet if they encourage botting as a side effect, are they worth it? true but what do you spend you gp on? i always used to buy d bones and herbs... :???: basically the incentive for rwt is people who buy gp wich they use to grind 99's wich they want to "show off" with skill capes so i tottally agree with the article -.-
  2. the food article started out good i like the point about fishing being pretty much the only way to get food farming is another way but it cant compete with getting cooking exp that fish can provide and hunter well theres a decent amount of cookable items their rly rly low lvl/health gain and i think the article shouldve focused more on that aspect than adding higher lvl food but what do i know? pmod article had a good point but idk alot of pmods and havent personnally seen a decline in quality of pmods so idk..
  3. good read i definatley play for fun but im a quester so i know what it is to grind out a lvl for some reason or another and i feel no shame in admiting the ONLY reason i got 75 firemaking was for the seer's village achievment diary
  4. good read mmk for my list #1 fix the drinking animation for beer and other alchoholic drinks :ohnoes: #2 continue the rise of the red axe/forgetable tale... questline(worst cliffhanger ever imo) #3 update the d pl8 its pretty good as it is but the arms are just so wrong #-o acctually thats about all i have atm im pretty happy with jagex cept for these 3 things NEED to change pl0x :x though i do admit spawn stealers are jerky
  5. for the first article it was good but imo the stock should be made with magic logs and the string should be buyable..just a thought for the second article good read never really had a problem doing wilderness clues tbh pkers just didnt seem to want to pk my amazing 3 items and my sextant watch and chart the third article was pretty good but im rather dissapointed that the word butt wasnt mentiond cuz people who have ever had the random know that prison pete is a butt pirate the fictional article is pretty cool just not my cup of tea so no comment
  6. tbh only 2 of the randoms are imo bad enough to get rid of completly evil bob with prison pete and molly a few of the others could yield different rewards like freaky forester and drill demon 500gp isnt bad but its boring and repetitive gimme a lamp plz
  7. The Curse of Probablistic Knowledge very good read bit repetitive but good all hail the flying spaghetti monster ;)
  8. excellent read love how it focuses on those who Cry and Pout about updates that arent all that bad \
  9. i would love to know my exact time i know it would easily be 5000+
  10. i think jagex was rather optimistic about d plate but i dont think its a total loss sure it came out too late but its not a "bad" item i think most of the problem is mob psychology if we didnt have anything to contrast it with bandos,3rd age, barrows it would be an amazing plate and its still something decent and different to wear jagex shouldnt be makin better and better stuff at least not for melee (atm) and as for having more higher lvl items and quests thats fine with me however most people playing rs are about mid level and i personnally dont think theres enough mid level content (mid level beign say 65-100) they should expand on this area a bit more cuz i used to have fun beign a high lvl and doing arbitrary things with my freinds like go dagganoth hunting for spined armor or max on tzhaar but now all my freinds are around lvl 110 and more often then not are raiding or killing avaniese and for these you need relativly good cmb stats and perssonally i think its more fun to cut yews with a freind than die with strangers at gwd (not that i do but i tend to have to tele alot when my team does :? )
  11. ive been haveing that same problem but its probably cuz ive been trying to get all my skills above 60 and havent been slaying (71 slay)
  12. good read ye alot of my freinds were skillers and there quickly turning into pures and ive made more money from slayer and a couple nice clues (guthix plate and str ammy(t)) than ive done from any non combat skills. even house tabs are magic exp how i use to make money so ye skillers are in a rough patch :wall:
  13. good read bit of a rag on merchanters lol but a good read. im a quester hands down wich calls for decent skills and cmb lvl's and so i get those for quests
  14. very good read i was lost until after the sara gwd quote but i tottally agrre that jagex isnt really makng enough effort in distinguishing between harmful bugs ans people beign stupid with chairs cuz were all stupid at some point  ive heard of people beign banned for the POH dinning room bench glitch wich really doesnt make any sense to me since its not harmful or anything. or is it and noone ever told me? :?
