Thought I should give my input as it may help. Don't have every drop logged, but I remember I did 432 cremations (did 68 prior with no loot) and I was VERY lucky with my loot compared to others here. In my first set of 100 cremations I got Z page three, in the second 100 interval I got Sara kite, in the 3rd I got a G page, and 4th I got rune kite (g). The other random loot totaled to 1M, for a total of about 7.3M. Also, the new quest provides faster killing methods and the drop rates may have been upped. So this may seem like a worthy task now, not just for maxing out flail as a completion

Keep the suggestions coming guys...also, if you have a CLS/Rapier/Maul, input is MUCH more helpful :thumbup:

I'm a bit stuck here, as I don't know which to pick (FOR MY OWN USES, not which is better in general). ATM I'm almost halfway there (70k tokens) and I would like your opinions. Since I know some people will say CLS is for bosses and rapier for training. I'll say that I do occasionally go to GWD with my clan, but I solo TDS mainly as far as MHing goes. I don't do much slayer but I prefer it to be quick and easy. The only PVP I do is in Castle Wars, and it's only casual, but I occasionally go to clan wars or FoG. Those are my stats if it matters. Before anyone even thinks about this...I will NOT choose maul, arcane stream, scroll of life, etc etc... until I get my choice in weapon. Thanks for the help :thumbsup:

I would personally get enough cash (don't welfare yourself) to pay off 70 prayer. It is much more worth it than chivalry, considering they drain at the same rate. Do whatever you like for it. 10M is a hefty price tag, but with something simple yet profitable (like barrows) you can get the bones in a week's time.

I think you may want a Monster Hunting community: one that does have high levels (combat/skills), and you can be active or inactive without being kicked. I am a member of one, so you may want to try this one out: SoDB (Slayers of Dangerous Beasts). We (I joined) are a friendly community that is dedicated to monster hunting, but most of all having fun. I'm a bit confused here :mellow: Let me try to summarize this and please correct me if I missed something. To start off, 50 mining to mine the ore, 50 smithing to smelt, and 95 to smith the bar. Correct? Now taking an unfinished item (please explain the process to get one I missed it) to the room in GWD will allow you to make a weapon corresponding to that god right? (EG Bandos's Crescent of war) And if Guthix let you into the mines in the first place, why would there be protectors? Just a little though, I think it contradicts itself. Otherwise a very nice topic I can say. This is a perfect way to help Mining and Smithing actually have a point in this game nowadays. Also, Jagex has stated that they are going to add a whole new set of armor to the game, along with a new dungeon. Some of the biggest HP counts will be there. I definitely messed with a scammer once, I was level 70 and he was 71 (anon. pm, couldn't see him in game), offered me a whip for 150k, which I had, told me to meet him on the bridge on edge (leading to present day GE). I was aware that that was level one wildy, so I brought 5gp and a id'd guam. He binds and dds's me, then takes his *spoils*, but not without a large flame through Pm I reported him and he got perm ban LOLOLOLOL :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm gonna provide an unorthodox way to do this fight. Wearing your best melee armor+DDS/defender, touch the stone. While the elemental is forming, put on piety, protect from mage, and protect item (safe than sorry, also barely has a prayer point drain). Go through the dialogs if you wish, special him, use whip, but ALWAYS keep protect from magic on. He has a stat reducing magic attack, meaning you block 2 out of 4 of his attacks with protect from magic on. But his range attack is brutally accurate, be prepared to eat a decent amount (bring a BoB). If you are good at prayer switching best to follow the person's advice above me. But as I was laggy during the fight, I thought I wouldn't be able to keep up with the switches, so I kept pro mage on Bring d hide + rune cbow if you want to kill the demons in the same trip (no point in not, really)

Not a space away, but ONE SPACE DIAGONAL of the frozen brother, but yes that is the idea. If you step diagonally as soon as the spell hits them, you have EXACTLY 5 hits until they can hit you (using blitz)

If I were you, I would just bear with it and try again. It is supposed to have a high fail rate. I was 65 and the first time I tried it I made it, but I failed 10 times the second time I had to cross it. Just don't worry about it, you have many more annoying things to deal with in the future :mellow: YES it is worth it to pray, the shadows top at 13, hit often, and half the temple is multi-way. You will chew a lot of food, and have to bank much more often (I did only 2 bank runs with terrorbird and prayer potions). I recommend you also get used to the style of this area, you have to go back through for Within The Light (thankfully not the agility obstacle :thumbsup: ) Best wishes! Questah 270 EDIT: If it concerns you that much, use an agility boost. Terrorbird scrolls raise it by 2, agility potions raise it by 3, and Summer Pies raise it by 5 per bite, best option if you can get them. But the terrorbird scrolls worked fine for me

Heck, black salamander is a great way to do it. I got 2-3 chests per trip with 77 defense and a super defense pot. If you feel like camping you can use the ice blitz+sidestep method to save a lot of food, meaning more runs. It's more expensive though, your choice.

Ok, I have a plan with a future guide (I prefer not to release the topic yet), but I have a problem with my citing of information. I'm not talking about MLA or whatever, its about another site. Am I allowed to take info from another site to help create my guide on Tip. It? If so, do you recommend that I do if it is crucial? If I place another site on my credits, people may go to that site for help more often, decreasing Tip. It's popularity. I do not want this to be my thank you to Tip. It for all its amazing guides, on the forums or the main site. Bottom Line: Am I allowed to include information from another site? If so, do you recommend it?
