  1. Even though it would be alot better if your mage level was 80+, i would try mage first with claws of guthix. My friend and i once went to miths and he had 99 range and i was killing faster than he was with only 80 mage so Mage all the way man.
  2. go to the Taverly dungeon and use a cannon even though its single you kill super fast cost alot but i got like 250 an hour i think maybe faster idk. If you want it fast thats how i would do it.
  3. too slow but i am there atm making money for knifes and such idk i may know a good cannon spot but i really need money for that duel.
  4. i thought about that but i was wondering if there was anything better?
  5. Ok now i need to get 80 range as fast as possible with minimal to no loss. I don't mind semi no lifeing it but i do have finals coming up so i really need help. Bronze knifeing is an option but i need to know where. Please help me i have 94 def so i can tank well also range lvl is 74 atm.
  6. well for breakfast you could try making a bunch of hardboiled eggs on the weekends and then eat those in the morning and for lunch the standard peanutbutter and jelly sandwich should help out along with some fruit/veggies or maybe a nutrition bar. I dont know alot about nutrition but i have heard that peanut butter is supposed to be good for gaining weight in a healthy manner. also the eggs would be a good sorce of protine and since you precook them they would take little time to eat in the morning. Also if you can get access to an indoor swiming pool then swimming laps for like an hour once or twice a week would be good and if you wanted to step it up wear a t-shirt while u swim (i know the t-shirt sounds rediculious but trust me the drag from it works you so much freaking harder than normal swimming.) also if you know what frog crunches are those work your abs the best. hope this helps =)
  7. I would do roaches when I was there last I got an average of like 20 crimsons a trip on just trout for food but I think I had 80 stats but still with better food you should do fine
  8. Well I don't belive that adding the wave spells would help f2p mage much and I also think that it would do nothing, and certainly nothing positive, to the market. This is because it will only continue to inflate the value of some items and there by deflate the value of gp. First RC'ing robes don't degrade and do offer def but the def they offer is weak at best. I do belive that better armor should be added. I like this idea of splitbark and snare because they have green d'hide and rune in f2p with is technically it's equivilant. Snare would be good because bind is such a weak spell you have to wait for it to wear off normally before you can attack again sometimes. But the waves won't do as i will explain soon. What jagex could do is make it so that it can be purchased from stores like green d'hide and rune armor and also green d'hide is made from members gear so this sould be a solution The higher max would cause issues with people if they released higher level spells but other methods should be more accaptable due to reasoning, ill explain more soon. The staff might do but the wizard mind bomb wont because then range will want a potion item in f2p as well. Now then the reason why we shouldn't give these higher level spells to f2p is primarilly, and i cant belive i am about to say this, because it is "theoretically" balanced with range. This is to say that the max hit of some1 with 99 range using adamant arrows without prayer is 16 which is the same as the 16 for fire blast. Now it is important to consisder that range hits much faster than mage and melee but still in general mage hits quite well. Now one issue to consider is that the prayers for range and str in f2p can both raise the max damage of an attack by 2 for their respective styles but magic's prayer cannot do this. So i belive this should be added in to with the other new updates to magic. Also Splinter bark armor would be great for magic because it would give them some def against melee while still giving a decent offence to where they can hit well enough. These are just my personal views but if we made the changes with the staff giving a bonus and the prayer then mage could hit a max of 20 in f2p which i belive is fair because of range's speed.
  9. ummm what exactly are you preposing?
  10. I believe that to some degree you like many other people take the bible word for word. It is a book and while the main points are all the same some things were changed so people could understand it better. You can see this today if you go buy a traditional bible and a more modernized bible or even 2 of the same you will see differences in wording. This brings up the problem of interpretation; what is meant to be literal and what is metaphorical? If theologians can't even seem to agree, then how are people to know what to believe? Countless wars have been fought over differing interpretations, so why, if the Bible was divinely inspired, wouldn't God see this in foresight and have the Bible be a bit more defined? Whatever the case, the Bible, along with all other religious writings for that matter, are hardly accredited source materials (unlike scientific texts), so you can hopefully understand why agnostics/atheists are highly skeptical when the only "evidence" of God existing rests on writings originating a couple thousand years ago. You'll have to explain this (underlined), if you will. Also, it would take a rather poor scientist to call any scientific hypothesis "absurd". The scientific method encourages open-mindedness and experimentation, so any true scientist wouldn't draw premature conclusions, anyway. Mhm, I understand. However, I was driving at the point that units of measure are not "relative" as the other poster was suggesting (to give an example, it would be similar to saying that 1,000 years ago, a day would last for 30 hours - that's relative and incorrect (at least for our planet)). You're talking about the measures of time used in the Bible being metaphorical (a work day or the time required to complete a single task), which I made sure to name as an exception. :P 1.) Yes i understand the skepticism people have. I need to check this before I proclaim anything but i believe that the bible is actually considered a strong historical reference but discount this until i have found firm evidence, I have seen this view presented with such evidence though I just need to check the validity. 2.) On the underlined part i was trying to say that all the phenomenon that would have occurred to produce the world we live in today are seen in the very beginning of Genesis. I must appoligise that while i am trying to find a way to express what my mind is thinking i cant find the right words so i will get back to you on this. All i can offer is that it states that there were animals and plants before man was there which would explain the dinasours. On the premature conclusions i have to call bull on that and it isn't even that hard to show i mean just look at Einstine's life early on he was considered by many of his peers to be delusional with his theories. But now we have proved many of them. 3.) Yes i know some parts are metaphorical, but others are written with words to try to translate a meaning that might not truly be expressed with words when the bible was written. The main point I am trying to get at is there is no true means to disprove the existence of a higher power or lack there of.
  11. no the crossbow doesn't work even with black bolts i tried this. Unless you're maxed in combat, bringing food won't get you anywhere, since the Wraith is abnormally powerful and accurate for an NPC of its level. Ranged won't work for more than a few kills either, as, like I said, you can't use safe-spots anymore. I don't really know what your saying here cause first of all i could never find a safe spot and also when using melee i was getting at least 10 kills a trip and my stats aren't great, also i wasn't using super sets. But in general your right It is kinda fun if your bored and want to do something different but it isn't great for cash but if you pm me in game and still want to do it i'll try to help.
  12. Ok so now that I am back i will explain what I have pulled out of Genesis but first I would like to quote a few things and comment. I quite agree I'm mostly posting here to show that you cant really disprove either side. It is impossible to use evolution to disprove religion because the bible does not show everything that occurred in the beginning of time. Also find it humorous that while scientist and yourself state that DNA proves that we come from one source but you a.) often refuse to accept that this could be a Creator and b.) have yet to provide full evidence of an organism that existed that we all come from. I believe that to some degree you like many other people take the bible word for word. It is a book and while the main points are all the same some things were changed so people could understand it better. You can see this today if you go buy a traditional bible and a more modernized bible or even 2 of the same you will see differences in wording. Well while the time line of the bible does not go perfectly with the BBT and Evolution, it does a fairly good job of explaining all of the individual stages of each part that those theories propose. Also science that is later proven true is often called absurd before it is proven. Well Not necessarily on either side especially with the sin part as you will see later. This is something I've never understood. Unless you're being metaphorical, how are periods of time relative? A day is simply the term we apply to the event of a planet rotating once on its axis (roughly), and it's the same with the others; they're all based on natural phenomena which occur over a calculable period of time. :| The bible is write for normal people to be able to read and understand. So the writer would want to change certain things to allow people to understand what happened more clearly. If you consider that in early civilization a day was over when you had completed a job or task, the rational reasoning for why this word now appears in biblical text makes clear sense. Now on to my reasoning of Sin's creation: Ok now i want everyone out there that doesn't believe in God to humor me and assume that there was one because the subject of his creation is not what we are focusing on here. Now then we all know that God made Adam and Eve and that they were in Eden and yes they took the fruit and ate it, but this is not where we must start. First we must think about something, or should i say someone, else that is normally overlooked. The devil was an angle that turned against God and was cast into hell and this occurred prior to this event of the fruit being eaten. Now many agree that the serpent is intended to represent a demon or the devil himself in a disguised manner. Now i know that many of you are going to hark on me because of this point but this is to only show that the source of sin is not created by the fruit, possibly not even god or the devil. This pre-existence is also seen in that if the ability to sin did not exist prior to this act, the act would be impossible. They were presented with a choice and they chose. Now this by no means means that the fruit has no meaning. The fruit gave them the knowledge of good and evil, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil". Now this is why they suddenly noticed their own nakedness after they ate the fruit because they now realized and understood what sins were and I also believe that they then began to understand how they could be used for self gain. The initial sin of man did not create sin, it only allowed man to become corrupt and sin without outside influence. Now all my historical evidence is taken from biblical sources but the rest I derived myself so I admit I am probably not the best expert on this subject because I have not devoted my life to reading and studying it. This is because I also love math and science. Now as far as I am concerned God gave everyone a choice to do as they will in life so what ever you do is your choice. p.s. Any1 wanting to try to bring up the idea that God can't exist because he can't know everything people will do if they have a choice, please go read the book Blink of an Eye by Ted Dekker, for I believe he does quite a good job showing how that is false, it's also an amazing piece of literature even for non-Christians.
  13. First off for those using standard means to calculate the length of the bible you must remember that the amount of time a day, week, month, year, and lifetime are only relative to specific time frames so it is truly impossible to calculate the length of time the bible covers. Also for the scientist out have you ever wondered how we could even have a big bang occur? because thermodynamics shows us that the universe is constantly losing energy and going towards a more stable state which means that everything, including us, will eventually become just a giant mass that has no energy and has degraded to compose of one element if not down to a smaller level of stability. So in some ways the existence of a higher being would give more evidence that something like this could occur. As for the dinosaurs issue we don't know what animals were placed on this earth originally or what original humans looked like so you can't disprove the existence of god with evolution either. Before i end i would like to point out a few things that had to occur perfectly for all the life that exist on earth today to be here that I can think of at this moment. How the moon was created (it really was quite a stretch for this to occur considering how scientist believe it occurred) salt and fresh water on earth (all life includes fish) plants as well as animals coexisting (exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide) placement from the sun sufficient atmosphere tilted and stable axis (semi related to moon) Also on the issue of initial sin, this is a much more complicated issue that most Christians know or are willing to consider and while I can take you through the logical process and will if someone would like me to do so, at this moment I don't have time to post it in full length because I have to go to a class. If I can I will do so later or if I forget then you can pm me in game and remind me and I'll post it. That is all i have for now.
  14. I agree that it isn't perfect yet but I'm mostly trying to say that I think jagex is starting to really improve their bosses. Also about the mass issue while this is true it also gives lower level players a chance to try to defeat higher level monsters by using numbers. Now in the future it might be nice to see some boss chambers that have a max people limit but I don't see it as a major issue. Dagganoths did add a lot to the game and i must admit they are one of the bosses that I don't know as much about, but the thing is that they are 3 separate bosses to some degree in that people have found ways to take them down one at a time now if you had to fight them all at once no matter what then i would consider them much more powerful. There is also the fact, correct me if I'm wrong, that you can use protect prays and safe spots.
  15. Some may view the corp beast as just another jagex boss but i believe it marks the beginning of a new age in runescape. When jagex first made bosses they made them with one major common flaw people could pray against them while jagex did have them using an array of combat attacks this major flaw allowed players to quite effectively kill them alone or in very small groups at low levels. These bosses the {mole, kbd, kq, and jad} are what i call the first era of jagex bosses. The second era changed the rules a little bit. These new bosses, aka the god wars bosses, could hit through prayer and also had powerful minions to help them and make them more difficult for players too kill. But still players found ways to effective solo these monsters. And yes the requirements for soloing these were much higher but still it was accomplish able even against the saradomin boss, who i consider the most powerful of the 4. Now we are at today. The corporeal beast!!!!!! This monster is a whopper at lvl 785 combat, 83 lvls higher than jad and much more powerful. with the power to one hit even those with 99 hp this thing is mean. What more it seems to ignore armor defenses making them almost useless and has a damage reducing field around it that cause you to hit less effectively. Not only that but one of its attacks can lower your stats that are boosted. Another major irritation is the dark core that it releases that can steal your health and give it to the beast. Even the mighty ruby e bolts only hit a max of 100 out of its 2k hp points with people rarely seeing hits in any fashion over 30. Guides for this boss recommend substantial stats for this boss and also teams being of a min of 5-10 even for high level characters. With this monster i believe jagex has created something for every player to have a challenge defeating and brought a new age to boss making. And yes i know that the corporeal beast has now been soloed but most people, even maxed people, can only last for one trip and even then there is the risk of death. Please if you have a view or something to add please post but don't just say you agree or disagree give a reason.
