  1. ok, here we go, im gonna tell you what you actually need. a bunch of people here are wrong, so first i will say these little things: firstly, you dont need 70 prayer necessarily, people on the team other than you will almost defintely have it, so as long as about 2-3 people in a team of like 7 have it, no one else really needs it. 80+ stats in all melee are good, but generally right now, your stats are fine for a team you will not be able to solo consistently well with those stats, that i can say for sure. go for 85+ in each, and finish off 99 defense first? might be a good choice. the order in the difficulty of them is more like this weakest down the list to hardest Bandos (as a warrior not a tank) Sara (if you know what you are doing) Zammy (warrior) Bandos (as a tank, only must defend against ranged with armor) Zammy (harder to defend against magic with armor, constantly can be poisoned, and sometimes hit through prayer) Armadyl (all people are tanks and warriors, making it much more unsafe for everyone) Sara (if you dont know what you are doing) generally people want a 110+ person, though sometimes they will accept a 100+ level normally 80+ in all melee stats for a weak leveled warrior, again, lower levels sometimes taken. for armadyl, many will take a minimum of 85+ ranged, though even more will say 90+ is a must with no barrows skirts, like veracs plateskirt. others say you must have pro armor, or full armadyl with a dfs and veracs helm. summoning is amazing at godwars (and pretty much everywhere else, and being that it doesnt mess up pvp anymore, there is no reason not to get it to at least 52 for a terrorbird) and many people will not take any lower than 52. and masses are junk, generally, though if its the best you can do, join an ls mass. the money is worse, because you hardly ever get a drop, and the amount of money you make if you ever get one vs money you would gain in cs is much lower for bandos at least. i never lsed for other godwars because it just seemed dumb. rather than joining a mass, get your stats to 85-90+ and go after that. a good option for you would be to get 90 defence and 80 in attack and strength, get full guthans with bandos boots, and offer to tank bandos. look up guides to see how if you want to. this is good money because it takes only around 6m to get guthans, and you will generally find a team quickly because people always want a tank. its somewhat hard to do, but after you get experience doing it, it isnt that bad. enjoy, and good luck at god wars so far i have made over 80-90 million at godwars, it really is a terrific place to make money quickly, so go work on your stats and get in there! =]
  2. Ok, first, i will let you know you are completely wrong, because, as i said, you are getting a +19 to slash, which helps a lot more then 2 more strength. And please, use the tip.it calculators and see if the +2 to strength has any use for this place with 99 strength. Research things before you talk about them please so you can provide real and helpful information. I gave actual reasons for my suggestion on what to use, along with my experience from using this spot before it was known. From what you had said, it appears as though you have not gone before, or at least have not been there long enough to know what is truly best. Because you are praying the whole time, there is no use of the higher defense that a DFS provides. therefore, the +19 from the rune defender is much more helpful. And it also isnt worth it at yaks because they are so weak and hardly hit whatsoever. you are almost always best off with a rune defender when fighting something that can't hit you hard enough to worry about, such as yaks or these monkeys. Dont believe me?? test them both out at both places, see which gets you more experience, then come back here and let people know what you got. until then, you do not have enough experience to formulate a real and informed suggestion for this. I find that sometimes i sound mean when i debate like this, so just know i didnt mean it meanly. I just am bothered when people who are ignorant pretend to know what they are talking about, even when the evidence is clearly in front of them... and now this sounds mean... stop talking halt. :-# several times ive trained with dfs/defender. everything exact same except shield. and tracked exp. there has NEVER been more than a 2k/hr margin between the two. its makes little to no difference which one you use. at a decent attack/str level, you hit hard and often enough for it to not matter. hell, even using an obby shield gave me almost the same exp rate. that fabled +19 slash isnt as great as everyone thinks well, to each his own, but i agree with the other kid that said that at a 16m pricetag, why not go for the thing that gets you that extra 2k per hour experience. personally, when i whip here, i bring my zammy book. gotta get that fally shield. +5 to strength matters less to me than staying longer

  4. another option instead of this is bandits in the deserts, plenty of threads talk about this also in aow, and you can just put on guthans etc, and generally afk it (meaning search forums, watch movies near cpu, etc, without being away from the computer). you will just continually heal with guthans, so you dont need to pay much attention, though you still should be wary while taking along some food. this will probably be close to the experience you get from slayer, as, i believe slayer gets you, what? a max of 60k experience per hour, versus this place which averages above 70k, but with guthans controlled, probably about 55-65k per hour. its up to you, but if you are bored of slayer at some point, try this place out and they often drop runes like chaos, laws, deaths, and nats, as well as a lot of herbs such as ranarrs, kwuarms, etc, though it isnt much money, slayer, imo, really isnt either
  5. i believe all you do is swap to emerald bolts and hit the core with it, then the poison stuns it. thats about it, i believe haha. i used to only range, before many knew about it, so never used it haha. soz, but i have seen others do this, and they just swap the bolts
  6. cannon on the bottom tier in the taverly dungeon, very annoying to others, but good xp. and, there is a group of rocks you can safe spot from, so you can just run out once in a sec and refill your cannon. range pots are unnecesary, though, perhaps they will speed up the task if you are ranging it. i have cannoned there a little bit, and seen a lot of people cannon. always go to the lower tier if you are also ranging. good luck :
  7. ok, though he just said defender, i will tell you why =] +2 strength more, though super duper, isnt as good as the +19 slash attack bonuses from rune defender, meaning you will be hitting much more often rather than have extra unnecessary defense and a minuscule strength bonus which wont even let you hit one higher. always use rune defender on things that dont require much defense.
  8. so, for people who dont want to waste all those precious prayer potions, or those who are tired of running every little while to get them aggressive again, here is my suggestion. teleport back to ape atoll every time you run out of prayer, using the alter up there, and running back down. it may cut down a little bit of the experience you get per hour, but not by much. to do this method you have to adjust your inventory accordingly the primary necessity here is bananas, because teleporting out is the main reason you swap to this method and bananas are required for that. did you know that bananas can be put into baskets?? well, thats a wonderful thing about them for here, because for every time you have to teleport, you just take a banana out, meaning you can have a lot more super strength and attacks to bring along, meaning a longer trip. another option is to use zamorak brews, which raise strength 10-13 and attack, 18-21, versus 16-19 for attack and strength from 2 potions, super strength and attack. more attack, in my opinion is worth it here, but its up to you. the primary advantage here is more room, again, meaning more time to spend there. z brews also raise your prayer a little bit, around 6-8, adding to them being an advantage, so brew up after spending 6-8 points down there. the disadvantage is that it takes some of your hitpoints away, but it isnt that bad in the end, only about 7-9 hitpoints every sip. should you desire to offset this, though, an excellent option are more things in baskets! yay! strawberries heal 25 per basket. the brews also cost a little bit less than the combination of the pure set (sup str and attack). along with the extra time spent here you might want to add some more pouches, so some summoning potions and more pouches could be nice (or super restores, because though the method is to do it without prayer restores, why not if you need the summoning points anyway : feel free to add this suggestion to your guide with a -halt957 at the end =]
  9. i am at eucs atm because of you =] so far it seems terrific for experience, thanks for the suggestion i am using t bird atm, though i am 79 summ. should i use something else??

  11. =D> I have gotten 99 ranged already with a little help to these nice little things, though i used primarily red. this guide seems to hold the majority of things that i did thanks for letting others know about hits also, some people did magic here, dont know just how amazing it is for xp, but im sure it is good, if you wanna add that sometime
