  1. Pretty crap xp for too much work, could get way more slayer xp in that time using less food and pots. Considering Jade vine gives 4x for the same amount of effort or even less and can be done daily.
  2. Corrupt pvp weapons don't have specs, uncorrupt ones will not degrade unless when used in combat, even if they are weilded but not being used in combat.

  4. It's been proven many a time SS or ZS wrecks a GS at waterfiends. The speed of the ZS or SS far outweighs the extra accuracy and strength of a Godsword, but a godsword is an alright alternative if you don't want to buy a Zspear or SS but already have a godsword, other alternatives are ancient staff, ahrim's staff, verac's flail, guthan's spear, torag hammers.
  5. My point is this: There isn't any problem with summoning! There isn't any problem with prayer! Both are backup combat skills with a real influence. Going from 98-99 strength: Max hit increases by 1. Going from 98-99 ranged: Max hit barely moves, might increase by 1. Going from 98-99 summoning: Max hit increases by 73 (steel titan scroll, iron maxes 23, steel maxes 96). Ergo... Iron maxes 23-23-23 with scroll special which is 69, steel maxes 24-24-24-24 with scroll sepcial which is 96.

Its people like you with your speculating that causes the prices to drop, if you bought the claws for the intended use and you have fun with them you shouldn't care about the "summer crash" and panic sell them. There really isn't that much people that buy their armour and weapons in the summer and sell at the end, it's more fuelled by the panic buyers/sellers and the greedy lil merchers jumping on the band wagon speculating that. If people are so concerned about losing money on items they might as well just keep their bank as pure cash. :x

If you have a unicorn stallion or a pack yak filled with sharks and a uni spare with 99att and str you could try pietying them with bandos, although with steel dragons being crowded lots due to the small amount of them and iron dragons "pjing" you after kills for a bit you'l probably be better off using prossy and praying melee. The only steel dragons are in brimhaven, if your using prossy you could bring a BOB to summon near the end of the trip to hold some d bone drops or bring a bunyip if you misclick prayer or drink an antifire to late a few times and need a bit of a hp boost. and yes you still need an antifire or dragonfire shield if you use antifires. Using them both in conjunction with pray melee you should take 0 damage.
  9. Mage offence bonus only affects how accurate your hits are, void or mage bonus does not affect the max hit or how high you hit within the boundaries. It even says on the runescape knowledge base and on rune wikia that void mage increases mage attack by 30% which is an extra 30% mage attack bonus. In which my calculations are correct.
  10. Mage has absolutely no use Range>melee in terms of usage, but as said before get both. Dont get magic. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about. I know for a fact that the Mage set has a few very good uses. I intend to use mage in combo with range to do fight caves. It saves out huge space and switching to range is easy. Also I use melee to train at dags, with 75 def they'll hardly hit you. Not only that, but ive used it at Rock Lobsters to great success, it works like a beast at Aviansies, a friend of mine used it at Abby Demons and was amazed by the result. It has alot of uses. Yeh cause rock lobsters have ub3r high mage def. :roll: Most mage bonus comes from the slots which the void takes up, and the set only gives 30% more accuracy. Lets compare void mage with mystic. Void Mage Setup: Void Helm +0 Void Top +0 Void Legs +0 Void Gloves +0 Infinity boots +5 God cape +10 Seer's Ring (i) +8 Ancient Staff +15 Mage's Book +15 Amulet Of Glory/Fury +10 Total = 63 + 30% void bonus. 30% of 63 being 18.9 in this case round up to 19 giving a total mage bonus of 72. Mystic Setup: Mystic Helm +4 Mystic Robe Top +20 Mystic Robe Bottom +15 Barrows gloves +6 Infinity boots +5 God cape +10 Seer's Ring (i) +8 Ancient Staff +15 Mage's Book +15 Amulet Of Glory/Fury +10 Total = +108 Feel free to switch around the objects used such as mage's book with unholy book or upgrade to arcane you'l still get the same overall result of mystic >void mage. It's not even in the same league as mystic robes let alone ahrim's, the only thing void mage is useful for is for tribrid pking or duel tournaments when used in conjunction with the other 2 helms for quick switching. So yea you clearly don't know what you're talking about :

  12. Haven't tested it but in theory this should work, you have to be 96+ summoning though ;) 1. Summon Pak Yak 2. Bring 1 Winter Storage Scroll and 1 Item worth 76k 3. Stand in level 1 wild and press the Summon icon to activate the special but leave it on the select item screen on inv and hover your mouse over the item worth 76k. 4. If you get attacked click on your mouse sending the 76k item to your bank.
