While Guthix Sleeps

24 February 2013 - 07:53 PM

I just went and did the quest a few days ago (that's on 17.02.13) and recorded a few major changes, mostly to the monsters and some other things.
  • At the beginning of the quest you are to find Ivy Sophista. With the new layout of Taverley, her house is opposite of Pikkupstix' house.
  • The assassins that attack you at the start are now level 60
  • The Elite Guard at Movario's base is level 110 and not aggressive.
  • The Mercenaries that you have to fight near McGrubor's wood are all level 130 (everything else is the same about them)
  • Balance elemental is now level 144. The fight is a lot easier, I completed it with all melee stats 75, using BGS and barely any food. One must take stat restores/super sets to counter the stat-drain, though.
  • Tormented Demons are level 170
I am sorry I have no screenshots to back this up, but the RS Bestiary might confirm this information.

Fremennik Hard Diary

14 January 2013 - 04:13 PM

Hi.
The guide for the Fremennik hard tasks says "Dress to Impress" - Wear Rock-shell, Spined, or Skeletal armour and have a Rellekka citizen say your "honoured" name and that a

A full set of Skeletal, Rock-shell, or Spined armour.

is required. However I completed the task by not wearing the full set of spined armor(I was missing spined boots).

Cheers.

I'm back ^^

Hey guys

I've been a member of this community for a few years now, but I took a break from RS for two years (was finishing high school). I am back now though. I'm sure most of you don't know me, but maybe 1-2 might :D
I'm F2P for now, but will go P2P as soon as I reach 90 RC.
You can mostly find me on official [Hyt] chat (run by my old friend Serpent Eye :))

Cya around.

F2P Dungeoneering penalty

25 December 2012 - 12:41 AM

Hey! I just recently got back to RS to try out the Evolution of Combat. Before that, in F2P, people with 90+ combat would get a 50% reduction in their overall dungeoneering experience (if soloing). At that time I was combat 91, but now with the change, I'm combat 148. What level does the F2P experience reduction come in now, with EoC active?

Cheers

Dungeoneering noob here!

20 June 2010 - 08:09 PM

So I've been away from RS for a while now and checked to see if any new things have been added, ofcourse found Dungeoneering. Now i pretty much know what the skill is about, but II have no idea how to efficiently train it. So far I've been doing floors 1-(max at current lvl) all over again on the highest complexity, resetting when completing the highest floor. But that takes so much time finding all the rooms and making decent equipment for the boss fight, so could anyone tell me any faster ways of doing this skill. Oh yeah, I'm F2P at the moment.

Thanks
