RuneScape Information

  1. thanks for the tips and tricks. Ive never done much with mini games but as f2p wont have as much in it then im gonna give GoP a try as it sounds pretty fun, i know ill get the hang of it after a bit but i dont wanna be the reason teams lose if you know what i mean
  2. as above, if they werent cooking gauntlets take em to the cooking bro in cath and he'll change em for 25k
  3. hey all, membership expires in a few days so making plans for when im f2p again. ive become interested in the great orb projct and its rewards quite frankly, the robes are a decent f2p mage armour but the most interesting thing was the water talismans...considering mems now use em for summoning is it actually profitable to play the game, get water talismans as a reward and then GE em for 3,400 ish ea??
  4. i can profit on maging avians using air wave. you only make about 40-70k profit an hour depending on drops but it is very doable and quite good fun too. i sugggst gorogoroths guide to avians, as it covers maging in there and its a very thorough guide :D
  5. depending on your other stats try maging aviansies...ive been air waving em recently and found that even with buying prayer pots etc... im making a small profit while training magic and hp :D gonna try some barrows in a bit and see which i prefer and which yeilds more cas and xp....if i get lucky with barrows itl all be worth it lol.
  6. thank you kindly, i kinda thought that would be the case i just cba spending money repairing something i dont use to fight lol.
  7. does barrows armour degrade if you are say using magic but not in combat, e.g. alching etc... its just while i use ahrims atm for maging avians im using ele staff+unholy book, but while im just stood at the ge buying supplies or just alching stuff i want to just equip the staff sometimes cause i rarely ee ppl in full barrows gear, normally just 2 or 3 pieces. cheers.
  8. as far as i remember silverlight has similar power to a rune longsowrd when used on demons...so rune scimmys probably better....would req testing
  9. so technically i could always use either arth wave or air wave to save a bit of cash until i hit 75 magic then, save a bit of money and stuff too. and i would use dart but i really get tired of slayer lol...especially when i get tasks of 174 fire giants and cant play very often lol. keep doing bits and bobs but meh. cheers gorgoroth for the info and once again that guide is pretty dammed good, answered every q i had apart from that 1.
  10. thanks for the info, will be making good use of it in the furture days, always wanted a fun way to train mage without losing too much money and this seems pretty good to me. just 1 further q, are you using fire spells as its the highest level spell or because they are weak to it? was just thinking of air waving or earth as my mag level is only 70, or would you recomend just getting slayer to 55, and use dart? cheers
  11. Anyone tried this and can comment ont he effectiveness? also are they weak to a certain element...id have thought air considering they're flying
  12. well obby rings have the +69 range bonus dont they? so technically as they're fast you'd pwn with them. you'd just need a few friends to buy em as well so you can get a few :D
  13. you know i often think that :P
  14. thanks very much, may focus on gold mining to get minig up a bit. i can mine addy in f2p cant i? i remember there been a spot or 2 i think. wcing ill probably do a bit of if just to get costs for nats for the superheating. fishing lobs i can def do relatively easy
  15. as for iron mining i always thought the ardougne mine was quite nice and quiet, i dont think iits the closest to a bank but it has both iron and coal, all within a reasonable distance of a bank...i used to frequent it as i made all my own arrows (this was before the GE) so it helped my mining, smithing, fletching and ranging out :D as for range training do you want your arrows back? that would change a few things on whereabouts you should train. are you a range pure or is it just a want to level the skill up? the guards at varrok and fally are nice and they drop lv2 clues, failing that moss giants near ardy or on crandor are a good source of prayer, loot and range xp. the ardy ones are easy to safespot too as theres a big clump of rocks in the middle.
