  1. Even though my account's post count is a bit... Meh, I have a few new tips to hand out to those attempting him. -Hit-and-Run: Don't try it unless you've done it before in pvp or something similar and know you're really good. Otherwise you'll waste food. -When Nomad summons his clones, HIDE BEHIND A PILLAR. You CAN tell which he is, because he's the last to turn your direction. Saves a rocktail or brew dose. -Prayers vs Curses: If you've got high prayer, go for broke on curses. The soul split will make the fight easier from what I understand. (I don't have it, but my friend does and he used less than half his invy) -MORE Prayers vs Curses: If your prayer level fails like mine (71 at the time of writing), use prayers. For example, I've found that the prayers: Steel Skin, Eagle Eye, and Protect from Range (I had Armadyl, my ranged defence was low) worked best. PLEASE SUGGEST MORE!!
  2. You've obviously never played Star Wars Galaxies Pre-CU, or even Pre-NGE. I have. It's not too Sandboxy either. >_> Lol
  3. Wow. Makes me wanna get 99 theiving. ...If I wasn't so lazy.
  4. Don't let the pure noob get to you. Just because you could easily KO him, he hates you. So just challenge him/her to a duel and take care of it right then. Shuts them up every single time. (Some even log or run away before we fight. ^_^)
  5. I think that you should ignore them. An idiot's world is not ruled by logic like mine. Anyways, I have high-ish defense, I try to keep them balanced though. With my defence I get more money than str noobs (At PvM) because I don't even use food. I stand there with tons of zeros on me, whilst they are taking 20's. It's easier/faster money not to spend money to make money. :P
  6. this is something i totally agree with .... posting in rs forum would be great for f2p as they can say their opinions, sell things.... i also would like as a f2p to be able to cast more spells like the waves spells and to snare and entangle I'm P2P as well, but I think if F2P got forums use, there'd just be a lot of SPAM and macro accounts posting across the forums. I'd like F2P to have more of the standard spellbook as well, a few friends of mine with 99 magic lost their membership... Plus, Capes of Achievement. I don't think they'd need much else.
  7. lol, a buddy of mine used that. He's afraid to try to log back in now. XD Luckily I wasn't on, and if I was when it was found, either I was in the right world at the wrong time, or it never affected me. (I was on daily, I was also in Mortyana around no-one, so... I was fine I suppose.)
  8. This is essentially the point of the entire post. Is RWT really having such a negative impact that these changes are necessary? Look around you and compare the current times to the old times. Macroers are no longer ruining the game, and credit card fraud issues have been dealt with (as said by Jagex). Transferring gold is dangerous, and time-consuming. RWT has been HUGELY REDUCED as a whole. So it leads to the question: Does the RWT going on right now affect you at all? Answer this question personally, not with the generic brainwashing comments Jagex has spread throughout the community. The only reason I can think up which affects the game negatively at this point are the updates that are aimed at stopping it. Somebody bombs a building in Iraq, does it effect me directly? No, should it be stopped? YES. Saying something doesen't directly effect me is an invalid argument, the people RWT'ing and xfering items are CHEATING. That is the point about it all, they are cheating at a game we play comppetetively, and it isn't in the spirit of the game. It's morally wrong to cheat, and it may not effect me personally but by god i will support anything to get those cheating scum out of this game i like to play. The people who have brought this on are the RWT'ers and Xfer'ers, and they are the main majority who it will effect, as said by alot of people, a very few people actually use BH to pk now, it is defunct, un-needed and letting cheaters get away with cheating. It was meant in my eyes as a temporary place for people to pk untill PVP worlds were introduced, now we have those, BH is un-needed. AMEN to THAT!
  9. Methinks only an actualy RWT'er would want RWT gone. So stop complaining.
  10. Running around with my best pal at the time (In like 2005, Ericawozniak) in full black besides a steel full helm, and circling Falador. We acted like secret agents and I switched to full steel when I was inide the city (This was Ftp and we were both poor.) we thought ourselves so clever.  I remember when Rs was about goofing off and not "Having to get capes"...
  11. The profanity filter will never be optional, but, for you to recieve profanity, or you to give? Either way JaGeX won't do it, but I'm curious. Also great idea on the fighting... It seems unnatural and JaGeX has fixed all the other animations, such as woodcutting and mining and (Not so recently) Fletching.
  12. A cape's a cape. It's an achievement altogether, but, many noobs like to get these 'buyable' capes just to have one. \ Even so, I don't consider any induvidual cape nooby. Imo, you're a noob until you get a *Trimmed* skillcape. (Which ironically means I'm a noob still  ) And anywho, most of the childish noobs who say your skillcape(s) is/are nooby have none for themselves, or have a 'nooby' one themelves and wanna make themselves feel good. I do what I enjoy. And I earn it. It's as simple as that.
